Today has been a good earning day again, thanks to that £12.00 survey from yesterday, total was £24.32 cashed out, whoa I love high earners, and I enjoyed the process! So todays pot is £234.99 which is 90% of total, so not long now before it is there. I am thinking for the next pot I would like to get together the money for car service/MOT. MOT is usally £55-£60 and car service is £262 I just checked so in total I need £322, that will be my next goal! However I don't think I will reach it as fast as MD has no other jobs for the forseeable, so it will just be down to prolific, usually I can reach £6.00 per day to cash out 5 days of the week £30.00 per week 30 weeks £300 so 30 weeks from now is Novemeber 24th I Think I can do better then that so lets say October 1st and see if I can beat it! I love having a goal to reach!

MD said today that she doesn't have the money to pay for the chairs, so tomorrow I will buy two chairs with the money I have and I am looking forward to seeing them, I can't wait to go, I really hope they are there, I will be gutted if they are not there. Also I think it would be wise not to have any money from MD at any rate as she feels I should do stuff for her and I know I haven't got the will to do stuff for her unless I am paid. It is like I won't do anything for free anymore, I use to all the time but then I resented my mother. Admittedly she did ask me to get flowers for the garden and plant them and get soil because I like sitting in the garden too etc...I just feel I want to go back to building a barrier, I don't want to do her gardening, I am happy sitting in the garden as is. I do enough when I am there for now and the last million years, and she still expects stuff from me still. I guess I keep forgetting to take that step back I feel much healthier when I do. She has just given me money however I feel like this was owed for some time, by means of doing stuff for her and her just accepting it. I have done a lot of stuff for free, I have done a lot of stuff for money. But I am not doing everything again...we keep getting into the loop of her expecting me to do stuff for her, It is like I offer myself but I can't seem to stop myself, so a barrier again. And I must find a job for financial security sake.

I think I am just a bit hormonal with regards MD, also I am not looking forward to the warm weather I want to escape it already! I will buy the two chairs today as planned, I am also planning to make a lasagne today and lodger is going to have some. I love lasagne! I hope he likes it too! I may pop to Tesco also and Buy fresh lasagne sheets and garlic bread! with it as I will have a bit of leftover cash - not that I need to spend it, I just want tonights dinner to be good! ooh and rooibos too!

I think in the end I will help MD I was just hot and bothered, it is a nice thing to do to get the garden looking good, I think just the heat and hormones getting to me! Anyhow today is for me, I will do the things that I want to do, one for MD and one for ME!XX

crazy B I would hold off buying chairs until you can get them all together so any fabric is the same dye etc. or what if they discontinue them? Any word on a job? You haven't been swimming for a while (unless you did not mention that) that might relieve some angst?

Chieveley I am super Happy, I mean Super Happy! I have all 6 chairs, OMG I got them at a steal! £504 from £1677 which is just over 30% of Original price - 70% off! They are comfortable, sturdy and look greak here let me show you:-

Sorry I didn't decorate the table before taking the pic, but they fit beautifully and I am so thrilled. I used up the pot and MD paid for my old chairs so I have £202.95 left to pay and MD agreed to give me £200 for my brithday so they will be all paid for! Wow I am not feeling any guilt or regret.

I have £202.95 left to pay on the credit card, Savings pot is zero! Prolific £0/ £9.07 pending I have enough to pay all bills this month. Next mission Me and roomie are having alovely meal tonight cooked by yours truly! I am resting then I will cook clean and prepare for tonight!

    Sometime later...

I have made another purchase, which will need to be cleared by prolific earnings, I have bought plastic covers for the chairs, so I will protect them, I hate to wrap them but if it means they look and last longer then so be it! I now need to clear £246.12 off the credit card...(£200 coming soon, so it is not drastic!). Please feel my elation!

Sometime later...I have cancelled the order for the plastic chair covers because when I was a young thing I detested the use of them in someones house, as they couldn't be used the way they were intended or as well as! so £202.95 to make up!

It is very early this morning as I post this, I was asleep then woke at 3am something time, feeling wide awake! so here I am after cashing out prolific for the last day this month, this months cash total is the most I have had for any month (£196.64) That equates to £2400 for the year if it was true for each month! That is quite an extra income! Anyhow soon I'll be working and I won't be able to earn as much.

I am starting a new cash pot, for the purpose of car service and MOT etc or car tax if I can get enough in time, I did cash out £18.25, I transferred some of this to current account for Bills to round the total up, also I am thinking it would be good to have a buffer of around £100 in there actually that reminds me I have got to save £101 for June 1st, this is for ground rent eak and I am no where having saved this, Okay this will be my new goal for May! I will update the signature.

CC is at £200, I am expecting this to come to me as a gift on Bday, so that will be cleared so I am free to work on the next cash pot - ground rent £101 by End of May! Prolific is looking low at £0/£5.07 Pending!

Today I am helping out MD with getting flowers and soil for the garden, I'll probably end up planting the plants too! I wonder if it is cheeky to ask for a cash bonus for helping out today?!

Well done on getting your cc at zero

I have just finished reading Prof Roy Taylor ‘Life without Diabetes’ (I don’t have it) - might be worth a read / it’s motivated me anyway

i hope you enjoy your chairs but confused as to why you also need plastic covers for them ? Do you have wild parties? Kids over a lot? Seems extra expense whilst you out of work and if it makes them not look great …
    DON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Glad you have cancelled the covers for the chairs. No point in having things you like if you can’t enjoy them.

Hi Guys Thanks for your comments, I thought the plastic covers may protect them from dust, my last lot of chairs really did look dusty, I was also thinking the colour may fade, but I guess it would through plastic. Anyhow I decided in the end to cancel the order for the plastic covers. I think I wil leave them and switch them around a bit so they all get a bit of use! I have to say they feel high spec, I have never treated myself on anything so lavish and I have to say I like it, it is strange to get them whilst out of work at the same time, I have never been happier to be honest, I count this as my 40th Birthday present and not the lousy stuff I got on my actual 40th - This year I am in the 42nd year!

Today I helped MD out twice, she topped up the petrol in my car, also I got a new plant plus £20.00 for getting and planting flowers in her garden. Prolific is low at the moment I did manage to get a survey this morning so I am up to just below a fiver anyhow with the 20 I am up to £26.14 which is 25% and we are not even in May!

I haven't spent any money so I am up to 23/19 No spend days (I think I will edit later if not!) I have to say April was a very good month. Ohh also I now have two interviews to go to (6th and 14th May) Also my council tax has come back with a credit so I am thinking I don't have to pay anything, we will see what they take tomorrow? I could be further ahead again Come the end of the week.

    Feeling positive 😊❤️😊
