I managed to get the £13.30 back and a little more (pennies) I am now at £146.58 with £5.18 in prolific and £13.23 pending. I am determined not to spend tomorrow and instead add to the pot, I know I will be doing the filing for £20, I have vouchers that I can't use in mands not until the security is sorted which is a bit annoying! But prolific at £5.18 I stand a good chance of getting another cash out tomorrow for that too. Have a good evening allXX1

Today I have earnt £20.00 filing and £10.76 on prolific bringing my total to £177.34/ 68% I am now well over the halfway mark there is £82.66 left to make. MD has asked me to cut the grass for £20 - I will do this tomorrow providing it does not rain between now and then! Plus I have £8.26 ready to cash out (too late for today as I have already cashed out once, cannot do it twice!) and £10.32 pending! I am totally nailing it, even with my blip from yesterday it is not bad going!
Tonight I am having home made chips (oven baked) I have now used up all the aunt bessie and because I am now accustomed to making my own chips I think this will stick, afterall aunt bessies chips are over priced £3.80 per bag! So I am totally saving money, I have ordered groceries it is a little over £50.00 but I think I will stick to this grocery buy going forward even If I get a job - this will help save a lot - I may creep up to £60 per two weeks, otherwise that is it! It has been enlightening changing my grocery habits, also it means more cooking! I just can't believe moi is on a tight budget and trying her best to make it work! and for the most part it is working my credit card is at Zero and my groceries are at £53.02 for next weekend & I am doing a lot of home cooking!
I am still waiting to hear about the interview from earlier this week, But I could hear on Monday now - it doesn't look like I will be starting May 1st!? Ohh well just get a job first CB!1 -

Today has been good and a bit naughty, but also the start of something...well soon...I spoke with my diabetes nurse today and we agreed that I would wait three months go for a blood test and if the result is that my cholesterol goes down (From 4.6 to 4.5 or below) then I can carry on without taking statins, which I have not been taking as prescribed. So The gauntlet has been set, I have already changed my shop making it hit just below the budget of £50.00 at £49.63, I have taken off the choc ices and choco pops, I will have Porridge for brekkie, and go without a dessert. I am planning to make the odd cake here and there, but I will be sharing with Lodger and MD, Also I will hold off making until Tuesday this time around! I know it sounds a bit like not much of a change but It is big for me, I am really trying to get my sugar down too, so I can reverse my diagnosis. And the change earlier in the week with the chips, sounds silly but I have wanted to make that change for about several years and it has taken me to being a bit poorer to do it, so I am thankful of this time! And I believe I can do more which is new! My weight is the same for the last year, but it is the same weight as post swimming and I no longer swim, so although my diabetes nurse thought that my weight was not good which it is not, I am still happy that it is going in a better direction then my crazy past has for binge eating - which I no longer do and I haven't had a take out for about a long time now!
I have earnt £20.00 today mowing the lawn and I did earn over £17.61 today on prolific, but I had a few things to pay for, as I had lunch out etc, and that £5.75 has come out so I paid for a bit and added £1.62 to the pot which is now standing at £198.96 which is 76% It would have been good to hit the £200.00 threshold but I only have myself to blame for not doing! (With snacks & Lunch) I am up to 20/19 No spend days my credit card is still at zero. I feel like doing a bit trumpet blowing on my behalf, because I have improved but there is still work to be done!

Your doing well CB , you'll probably find when you return to work that it's easier to cut down food wise as you will be busier throughout the day. I think sometimes we eat out of boredom .1

Yes thank you @Newstartforme you are probably right, although sometimes I feel like when I am working full time, look after MD and have little life outside of that, I then resort to take out and snacks. So I must be mindful to have some time for myself, which is what i'll aim for! I am learning to think that MD is not purely my responsibility and that sometimes she can stay at home, as opposed to me taking her out, when all I have left is the weekend. MD says I don't have to take her out, but she does ask sometimes which I don't mind and sometimes it just falls to me, which I am okay with, but sometimes when I am working full time I need a bit more time to myself then I use to have, I use to sometimes take MD both sat and sun, then sat, now intermittant. Which is better. I still visit every week, but less time taking her out as I find it too much. It might be that if I lose some weight that I can do more, but I won't sign myself up unless I am sure. Sorry for the waffle!

Totally get what you mean CB , I feel my weight and poor diet lowers my energy . On the plus side it doesn't take long to feel the benefits when you change your diet for the better . Enjoy the remainder of the weekend x1

Credit card zero, No spend days at 21/19 Cash pot is up after I cashed in prolific £11.76 so now cash pot is £210.67 / 81% to target only £49.33 left to go! Prolific is zero cash and £14.43 pending. I reckon by the end of the week I will reach target!
Sometime later:-
If I could use the MandS vouchers (£20) along with a survey I just did (£12) and all pending with now the £12 £26.83 I would nearly be at the finish line!1 -
I have come to realise that I find it hard to get a lodger that I get on well with and now I have found one that I like, I realise that I want to be alone again. I am not kicking out my lodger I like him too much, plus I still don't have a job. He is expecting to leave in August, I have decided to give him open return, so if he wishes to come back he can for £500 PM that is! This is what he wanted but this depends on me getting a permenant role. Fingers crossed that I get the job next week or at least the second interview. I think tomorrow I will write and do chores, then search for jobs in the evening when hopefully recruiters etc would have posted by then!1
