Reading @Watty1 diary and having just watched Martin Lewis talk about POA I’m updating my to do list.

I had a pretty scary health episode last year which made us both sit down and look at our wills and confront the realisation that DH leaves all finance to me. He doesn’t know where most of the money is or even how to access it. We acknowledged at the time I needed to write stuff down but life moved on and I haven’t so absolutely going to start addressing that.

We need to redo our wills, sort POA, look at funeral plans and wishes and @Watty1 just talked about estate inventories and @badmemory has a box for ‘when I can’t’  All really good plans and would make life so much easier if the worst happens.

Slightly more cheery news that £7.73 paid out from PA.

Did end up having a little spend last night buying a few bits and bobs. Picked up a hat for £2 from Home Bargains which was actually really soft.

    No not much @southcoast

Sleep always evades me when things are on my mind. So yes it definitely looks like the £500 monthly hit to the budget is happening.

Hard to be totally open on here but I’m relieved in a way in that it allows us to do some things with our money that we couldn’t do before. Just a few admin things I need to take care of first.

Does anyone use cash stuffing on here?  I Follow a few people on Instagram that do it and it seems a good way to build up pots of savings. Need to do a bit more research.

Anyway going to sit with a cuppa and read for a bit before a busy day commences.

Started the day with a YouGov survey.

After said health scare last year I said this was the time now I was going to healthier and lose weight. I managed nearly a stone before Xmas and then got slightly sidetracked with Christmas so back on it today.

Hopefully will get final confirmation this week about the change to the budget so then I can do some life planning as to how I can bring in extra cash. Looking forward to some extra freedom really now about how I can do that as I was restricted a little previously.

Good start to the day 👏😊

I’m a bit lost about the changes to your budget (less money and yet more freedom) but I hope you get the news that you’re expecting and you want.

It’s not you. I’ve been cryptic as I’m not in a position to explain fully.  But we’ve had to jump through some hoops which I haven’t enjoyed.

Busy day so not much time for surveys. Picked up a £1.50 YouGov survey which always pleases me.

Last pension was confirmed today so will be paid at end of the month with arrears. Then I will know hopefully actual budget figures to properly plan out the budget to the nearest pound.
