Nice start to January with a £90 sale on fleabay. That’s about it now for the decluttering sales.
Lovely first day of the year. Got out for a long walk with the fam. Had intentionally set a ‘family time’ budget each month so we can do days out and pay to visit places, have a cuppa / treat as part of it. It’s an important one for me over the next few years before the kids lives start to expand even more.So today, I need to dip my toe back into work and see what January is looking like. Also need to run a few errands, top up shop, library and post fleabay parcel. One of my goals this year is to increase my daily steps to an average of 10000 daily and I did this yesterday. So far so good! 😂DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Pretty pleased with myself as I’ve starting investing this week. I’m quite risk averse so this is a biggie for me am starting small and am prepared to lose the amount if it happens.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I don't know where you have your cash savings, but some providers will invest your interest rather than paying it into your account. I'm quite enjoying investing what's essentially free moneyMortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Sainsbury’s review of the year and its a poor showing from me. I only made top 5 buyer of a veggie roast. Most disappointed in myself.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Just hit over £1000 made from free money since Nov 1st. Have paid back two pots I needed to and I’ve written a list of things that we would like to save for. More on the treat side or things I wouldn’t buy out of our earnings so feel relaxed about it. First up is new slippers for DH and me. Sounds silly but we both suffer a bit with our feet and so we do purchase decent slippers with support. Probably an essential but DH isn’t great at spending money on himself so I’m saving up for them out of free money. To be fair once purchased they last us around 3 years at least. So I’m aiming for around £130 to cover these.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
