Sat with DH last night and decided we need a regular money meeting. We also need to put all of our financial info together, a recent death in the family bought that into focus. I mainly do all the money stuff and tbh I’m not sure he knows where it all is and should the worst happen, it is a headache neither of us need or would wish on each other. We also looked at the jobs (big and little) that need doing around the house as it feels we are stuck at the minute moving forward and agreed 3 jobs a week to tick off. 1 joint, and 1/ 2 sole jobs.Mine was to start recording financial details in a book, this week was the car insurance details which I’ve done.My second is to measure and get ready to order blinds for DS room. His curtains have been up for years and no longer match any bedspread he has as well as looking a little threadbare.Free money update£14.72 in from 1pulse
£3 from pinecone
in non cash rewards
£2 into nectar points

I too have been thinking about recording everything in one place. For the future. I should really start. Nice prompt.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
I think it’s the keeping it up to date that always gets meWatty1 said:I too have been thinking about recording everything in one place. For the future. I should really start. Nice prompt.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Had a random email from the ombudsman yesterday asking for feedback on how they are doing with a complaint Ive raised. We’ve had no outcome and no contact other than the general we have your complaint email. I was supposed to be raising a second complaint about Monzo but genuinely don’t have the energy. I still have a bank account to close with them as I’m tidying up my credit report and can’t summon the strength to do it as I know they will be a nightmare with it.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Could you switch the account to somewhere else? The new bank will have the aggro of closing the account then. Bonus points if you manage to bag a switching bonus!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)
