lol the fact you're stressing already ;)

I tell ya, there is so much I'm gonna have to do. Got to change all my adresses for everything important, cancel home phone and internet. Spend money which I hate doing. And there must be other stuff aswell but I've got writers block. :rotfl:

do what my wee brother did, tell them the day before you move out :D

    No way! Good lad. :rotfl:

I openly admit I haven't got the guts to do that! :p

I might just not tell them at all. ;)

the lucky thing is that your parents will still live there, so it doesn't matter if you get that all done in advance or not. I still get post at home even though I moved out 6 years ago :D

you could potentially have the best of both worlds, get your batchelor pad, crash there most nights, but stay at your parents' once in a while to raid the cupboards & get all your washing done ;)

ps - that's what my other brother is doing - he lives practically next door to mum & dad, mum still does all his & his girlfriends washing & ironing cos they have no machine!

I've no doubt I'll be turning up regularly unannounced for a Sunday roast! :D

Or they'll be turning up at mine unannounced! :rotfl:

It's when they turn up with Red Cross food parcels that it gets embarrassing.

Just told my mum I'm moving out!

She was really cool about it but I still feel really guilty. :undecided

It's just been the four of us (woofer included) since my brother moved out 7 or 8 years ago so it feels harder to do I guess being the youngest and last one to fly the nest! Mum was really alright about it but I know she's sad, guess it goes without saying, but joked how hard I'm gonna find it. :rotfl:

That's that one out of the way!

I know how you feel SS - me and my brother moved out in the same week purely coincidence - my poor mum thought she had offended us xx

Hows the flat hunt going? x x

Dont forget to give family some ideas if they are likely to buy housewarming gifts or you will end up with 3 toasters like we did!

Good look finding your bachelor pad! x x
