Hi SS,
Some tennancy agreements hold you responsible for breakages including external damage to windows caused by vandalism, for example. You might also want to include the cost of decorating periodically. Depending on your head for hights you may need a window cleaner, and unless you're green fingered you could have some garden maintenance costs.

Comparing your list to my Budget Planner, I think you have got everything house related..... The only thing that I have differently is a maintenance budget.... obviously this depends on your landlord and what you are allowed to do. Ours would ideally like us to stay for a while, given that the last few tenants have been a pain, so they allowed us to decorate (still not finished nearly two years later!) so I have a small household maint budget - obviously the big things they pay for themselves. Otherwise your list reads the same as mine.

Hi SS, I just bought a new laptop in Comet. £299 for a Fujitsu Siemens. It was on offer. It's not too bad either.0

OK this sounds really pathetic :rotfl: but how do I tell my mum I'm moving out?
Does that make me sound like a proper mummy's boy? :rotfl: I'm not honest.
I know she'll be fine about it aswell but I just feel it's harder being the youngest and the last to move out! :undecided

mmm... "mum, I've been thinking that I'm getting a bit old to be living at home and it's time to get my own place, plus I'm scared of turning into that Ronnie Corbett character..." Just let her know that you won't be a million miles away and maybe ask her advice on stuff to get for the kitchen - we like to feel useful!:o Honestly she'll probably have been expecting it! especially since you've older siblings who've moved out.Mortgage OP 2025 £6750/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

I like that. Much more tactful than my approach!
I might leave it a few weeks yet though. Make sure I've saved up enough first! Won't want to get her hopes up for nothing! :rotfl:0 -
Ladies, and gents I guess, what do you think of this bed?
