SS - glad you've told your mum. Of course she's sad, its not just one of her kids moving out, its the end of an era. But if she's as lively as you are (and I think she must be, for you to be like you are... you know what I mean) she'll soon start to enjoy the empty nest bit. And I'm sure you'll go back for the odd night, or during the odd domestic catastrophe (like, when you forget to pay the electric or something!)2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Not as glad as I am K. Was bricking it!
I overheard her talking to my aunt this morning! I was in bed but she talks loud! :rotfl:
She seemed fine about it so all is good I think. Although she does want to borrow the TV I've ordered until I move out! :rolleyes:0 -

Glad it all went well with your mum - told you she'd be fine. Maybe she'll use this as an excuse to take your dad shopping for housey stuff and give you all her old stuff (I know you don't do second hand but that would be ok...).

I've found another stand for £50 which although not as nice will certainly do the job. Besides, I've seen some ipod speakers I like which are £130! :rotfl:0 -
