Sainsburys now 75% off (merged)

Today, High Wycombe branch had Christmas paper and tags advertised at 75% off but these came up at 90% off AND 3 for 2 - so I got 3 x £6 packs, each containing 3 rolls of paper, matching tags, ribbons and bows for a TOTAL of £1.20!!!

I also bought a large (907g) Luxury Christmas Pudding for (I think) around £1.80 - also supposed to be 75% off but that seems like it was probably a greater reduction to me. It serves 8-10 people.

Yesterday i managed to get some 90% off Christma cards were labelled as half price but I use a scanner so the £4 was 40p, £2 was 20p and £3.50 was 35p fab!!

Has anyone been to the Weedon Road store in northampton either today (monday 7th Jan) or yesterday, sunday ?

Just wondered if it was worth a trip over for any more reductions and if much stuff was left ?

I went last week and there was quite a lot of reduced items scattered around the store.

nothing in slough (farnham road) except a few leather cufflink boxes (£2.25) and shoe care sets. (£2 something i think) lots of champneys stuff at only 25% off though! and quite a lot of mince pies/xmas cake etc.

Does anyone know what reduction has been applied to the calendars - I saw 50% off but they had heaps of stock left so I am holding off hoping for a 75% discount. Cheers Shirley

Does anyone know if the Champneys stuff will go into the sale at some time?

I had one of the dressing gowns for Christmas and it's lovely - they would make great gifts for some forthcoming birthdays!

and lots of other bits .. so much for the diet!

Thanks. There was 25% off - and three for two on these before Christmas, so I was hoping for at least half price.... :rotfl: I can hope can't I?
