Just returned from Sainsburys. We needed a cafetiere, as ours 'died' over Christmas. After putting a full price one in the trolley, we found some on the reduced gifts section. They are an 8 cup one and come with 2 x 57g packs of coffee (javan and Kenyan) also includes a scoop. Brilliant price of £2.50:j
They were not priced on shelf so checked with CS. So bought some more as presents. Coffee best by date is July 08. They are nicely packaged in plastic and a ribbon. I think they had only just gone out as the shelf was full. Polly~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Yesterday i got the small cadbury's packets for 24p0

I only went into Sainsbury's to get some cat litter...
came away with heaps of quality chocolates. My best buys were a 250g drum of Elizabeth Shaw milk chocolate mint crisps (usually 2.99, down to 74p) and a huge 400g dark chocolate Toblerone, also 74p.
Couldn't resist the Lindt chocolate reindeers at 57p - the store I was in also had the chocolate Santas, also 57p... which at 125g to the 100g reindeer gives you more creamy Lindt choc for your pennies.
They were also selling Cadbury's buttons in a cardboard cracker for 34p - this was the only confectionery which was Christmas-branded. All the others have BB dates into next spring/summer. Fab buy, perfect for gifts when visiting, birthdays, easter etc.
Well done Sainsburys!0 -

Not a whole lot at Peak Park Derby store, just some of the above mentioned chocs, some cheese straws and some bedding but nothing special.
Thanks OP though - wish I'd got my lazy 4rse off the sofa yesterday now and gone down then instead!0 -
Got lots of Chocolates, Biscuits and Cakes from my local Sainsburys. Don't just assume that all the cheap stuff wil be located on the same aisle though, as I found different goodies on different aisles.
Also make sure you check those receipts before you leave as I bought 2 Christmas Table Cloths reduced to 30p, but was charged the full price of £2.99 each. CS cheerfully refunded me the money though (unlike Tesco CS  lol)

saw the tins of QS but they were still 2 for £9, I think I ought to have asked ofr a price check.
A fair few Donna Hay products. Cookie mixes was £8 reduced to £2, cake mixes down to £3. They DID have though none left some Donna Hay cake stands. Did anyone get one as I'd liove to know what they were like, I love cake stands ( curiosity is getting the better of me )0
