My first post of 2025 and I'm happy to be back! I have been quietly overpaying for the last 12 months....and sadly an inheritance pushed us unexpectedly further along... and as a result we're hurtling towards the end. The bank have put our payments down to £94 a month, but I'm still classing anything over £475 (my old amount) as an overpayment.
#75 OP for June £374Mortgage when saw the MSE light 💡: £85,000 (end date 2045) up to £112,000 for house move (end date 2054)🍾 1st May 2026: mortgage free!
