Number 2 checking in. A mini OP today of £8 which brings my total for Jan to £119.50. Feels annoying not to be a round number but that may change later in the month if I manage to sell anything on selling sites.

Not great as aiming for a clean 1/12th of annual target amount each month, but we tend to front load big expenses early in the year, so less spare cash right now.Mortgage Dec '24 start: 227.5k. Now: 222.1k.

#49 Just made an additional payment of £7.08, I've also set my mortgage payment up to take an extra £30 each month when the direct debit is due. I've just been given information about my pay rise which starts in March so might be able to increase the extra amount taken when the direct debit is due.
We should also find out about or bonus this year at the end of the month I'm hoping it's large enough so I can pay off £1000 when we get the bonus paid

Tjh1412 said:Can I join this challenge even though I don't have the mortgage yet please? We are looking at completing in March, mortgage will be 190k so overpayment target is £19k. This will be a big stretch but will do my best.1
