Starting the year slowly so my only overpayment for January will be my standard £83.22 overpaid as part of my monthly direct debit.
February will likely be a tiny one but then I am hoping to get everything boosted up for the rest of the year!

2025 Savings Focus - 33.3/33.3/33.3 split; savings for house renovations (bathrooms/garden/kitchen; whichever collapses first), save for a family holiday (probably our last one!) and paydown/offset the mortgage. Total pot = £4238.561 -
Initially overpay by maximum allowed, being 10%, but I'm actually targeting paying in full when my fix ends in October.

Could I join please @julicorn I took my first mortgage out in May but now want to focus on paying down the mortgage my target for the year is £1250, I'm happy with any number thanks

I've put down £9,650 for now as the 10% placeholder, but let me know what figure you want me to put down for the whole year when you get a chance. You've got #47.0 -

uzubairu requesting to join the 2025 challenge.
Last year's overpayments have taken balance into the teens (saving in a separate savings account as we have a fix of 1.1% until December 2026.
Target for 2025 = £3,500
January 2025 overpayment = £350
