There is a separate website for the free version: https://hugoenergyapp.co.uk/

Can you signup to the free trial with Hugo and then cancel but retain N3rgy access?
I doubt that very much. Just sign up with the Free version as mentioned above using your IHD GUID.
I signed up around the beginning of the year and can access n3rgy ok at present.

How very annoying. First Loop ceases using n3rgy services, now Hugo is closing its free service. Received by email just now:
"The End of an Era - Hugo App Closes
It’s been an incredible journey, but we must announce the closing of the free Hugo App. Sadly, we have decided to close down the original Hugo App at the end of this month, April 2025..."

That's a shame. Hugo was a decent app, but absolutely nothing worth a monthly fee.

Shame, and as you say not worth a monthly fee, had the email too.
@masonic didn't realise that Loop ceased using n3rgy, do they now retrieve data direct like Bright?

Loop were acquired by procode who are a DCC user in their own right https://procode.technology/blog/procode-acquires-trust-power-home-of-loop-app/

I decided to register with Hugo and that enabled me to regain access to n3rgy. Once logged in I can see Loop is no longer listed as an Authorised User, only Hugo. My previous consent was withdrawn on 7th April. So it does appear Loop has severed ties with n3rgy.

Oh well, Bright only now I guess given Hugo is a paid service.  But luckily not much need now with a working Octopus mini again.
