Majorily overslept this morning, so not going to go into college. Plus its slinging it down, and can only afford to do train today which is a 3mile round trip on bike or walking. Admittedly if it calms down somewhat by lunch will consider doing the afternoon at college, plus have nothing in for sandwiches, and I can not go from now till 4:30 with no lunch and no coffee (no sugar in). Tea of out a flask is down right disgusting in my opinion.
On the upside of such a skint week, Dell finally got paid off, so one more debt down, and £13.26 better off each month.:T
Wow, cant believe i have red line spelling check under skint, you would think that considering how often and by how many people use it, that it would have made it into spell check dictionaries by now!:rotfl:19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0 -
Arg, two days i have overslept now. Just feel so tired, hope i wont have too much to catch up on when I go back to college on Monday. Have been a good girl and done some work on my essay. It reads rubbish, but its a start and will hopefully get some better ideas from this rough write up.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0

Well had tooth out and it was easiest one removed so far, at last a tooth with average roots that point in correct direction.
Had tooth out at 10, took painkillers at 12, had a hot relaxing bath around 1:30, slept till 5ish and woke up de numbed, had more painkillers at 5:30,so finally could have something to eat, and did I treat myself.
Salmon portion with a squirt of lemon juice and fresh coriander sprinkled over it with a thin slice of butter on top, oven cooked, with steamed new potatoes, baby carrots which where honey glazed to finish, and minted Petit pois. Soft yet tasty meal. Would have been lovely as a romantic meal for two
, shame it was me and two kids instead

Made myself a spring veg soup today, think there is around 7 portions.
British spring greens (quite a bit to make initial stock, via big full leaves)(handfull chopped finely for soup)
10 baby carrots finely diced
1/2 onion finely diced
1 potato finely diced
handfulish of frozen petit pois
2pt stock made from spring greens.
pinch of a mixture of four different herbs (forgot which ones now)
bring to boil 2pts water with unshredded spring greens in, turn down to simmer for half hour, remove large leaves, add shredded spring greens, chopped onion, chopped carrots, chopped potatoes and petit pois (or peas of your choice) leave to simmer for half an hour.

Just read through your lovely thread. Very inspiring.
Just enquiring on your funds.
You get income support and tax credit. Do you mind my asking is that because you work? I didnt think you could get both and not be working but what do i know! Thanks.0 -
Tax credits,
If you had a children after a certain year, you where automatically entiled to child tax credits which where paid to you separate to your income support. Income support solely covered the costs for adults.
If you already had children before child tax credits where introduced, you had income for the children included into your income support, plus your child benefit.
It was when I started work the other year that I started to receive child tax credits alongside working tax credits. When I was no longer working and once again on Income support I kept child tax credit, lost working tax credits and was awarded income support for myself only, plus the child benefit.
If you are on income support and have children, the only way you will receive child tax credit is by returning to work first. If you then are no longer in employment you will keep child tax credits separate from your income support, which you will only receive for yourself. If you don't go into employment at all, it will stay as being all kept together for both adults and children as income support only, plus child benefit.
Hope this helps.19th March 2007 LBM£5,969.63 1st January 2018 £5960.18, 1st January 2019 £11,032.0018th August 2023 £12,435.00, Student Loan £22244.00 From 2009-12Challenges: To learn to stop spending..0
