Yay at last Littlewoods have finally refunded my money. For a short time I was out of the O/D, then I paid my CC and have written a cheque for Holiday in October, taking me back to full O/D balance of £200 minus a couple of pence.

Went halves on a sack of spuds earlier with a friend, and just in general conversation I mentioned i was going to see if there where any slow cookers going on free-cycle. It transpired she has one which she has only used once within last 2-3 yrs, so said I could have it. So now have a slow cooker, just need to get my own bread maker now, as mum is threatening to take hers back with the price of bread raising the way it is. Also need new pans as I am actually down to one pan and one frying pan.

    Xmas Saver!
Well done with the slow cooker, need some bargians or freebies too fall into my lap.

DD does ballet, sods law her ballet shoes and tap shoes need replacing, nearly £25.00 for the both! So its been push the buttons 2ngt on mutual points added a wack more.

I do ok, have an arrangement with parents, I do their mutual points for them, when the cheque comes, they get £5.00 and the rest goes up for dd ballet etc, her classes are £5.00 wk, payable term by term! I just dont feel she should miss out becoz of my financial mess,

Ive done well, stuck to my snowball have set up debits to come out through month for the payments, 1st month hard, doesnt help got lumbered with 2 bank charges of £35.00 each from halifax, for going £1.50 over my od limit! but then Jans always a tight month x
xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx
  • I called Halifax after littlewoods caused me to go over my O/D and they have reversed all charges. Think one of the main reasons I wont stop kids savings is because that is the only benefit they are getting at moment due to my financial mess. Hoping to be able to start daughter's swimming lessons again around march, but wont tell her till I know I can afford it for sure.
Off out tonight and its not costing me a penny. Feel rather guilty over it as its mate's birthday and its her and her fella that are paying for me. Will have to find some way to make it up to her, anyhow cant drink as on antibiotics. So will only cost them £3 max.

  • Night out was ok, though came home with terrible hiccups from all the lemonade and black. Infact had to leave two halves of it, as i found the hiccups so painful. Wiish mates fella wouldn't buy me a drink each time he went to the bar, espcially last one as he could see there was still a full 1/2 pint glass and a 1/4 of the one I was drinking. It made me feel guilty I couldn't drink them, and annoyed he had bought them.

Yay I have a downstairs toilet again!!! Finally got rid of the bunkbeds via freecycle that had taken up residence in there.

Hi Laura, its any size going that I require:o sad or what. Very close to being on just one pan only now.
Well travelled for free today via train, and did 3 mile bike ride.
Admittedly I am only back on the bike so soon as I only have £2 to get me to college this week (do Monday Tuesday and Wednesday, get paid Thursdays).
Also one of my class mates went to pick freebie perfume up for me from Binns but they where all out of stock, but she had a few different ones and the free salmon teddy bear to go towards my Christmas crackers and Christmas hampers, plus a mirror compact, which she brought in for me nice lady :):T:T.
