The registered keeper details get entered twice in both motorist and driver details?
POPLA doesn't ask for driver details, of course not! They aren't allowed to ask that.

And you aren't giving driver details obviously.

You need speechmarks when quoting the POPLA appeal and ideally the date and Assessor's name, too.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi I received this from Popla, no reference (there are 2 PCNs). What does it mean?

BUT the next day I received 2 seperate letters demanding payment.

    Please help.

The operator has contacted us and told us that they have withdrawn your appeal.

If you have already paid your parking charge, this is the reason your appeal will have been withdrawn. Unfortunately, you cannot pay your parking charge and appeal, which means that POPLA’s involvement in your appeal has ended. You will not be able to request a refund of the amount paid in order to resubmit your appeal to us.

If you have not paid your parking charge, the operator has reviewed your appeal and chosen to cancel the parking charge. As the operator has withdrawn your appeal, POPLA’s involvement has now ended and you do not need to take any further action.

    Kind regards

    POPLA Team

And you will NOT pay the other one, regardless of POPLA outcome. POPLA is irrelevant.

We so badly need protected from this greedy nasty industry. Please join the motorists in demanding the re-launch of Govt-backed Parking Code of Practice.

A simple signature, share if you can. 🙏

I recall, a long time ago, this behaviour in Parliament would be the hopeful route? Where are we with this as a whole?

The change of Government delayed the final Consultation the Tories had ready in May.  New Govt means 5 steps back has happened and there might be more Consultation needed (to avoid a Judicial Review) but the Code is coming.

@Ponchos, how does your post help the creator of this thread?

All you post will do in create misunderstandings.

If you want to discuss your parking incident then can I suggest you start a new thread?
This will allow @jrs101's thread to continue without people wondering where Wilkos fits in.
I see your point and wanted to avoid too many threads on the main page. I have however now started a new threa with my issue and have deleted the post in this thread to avoid any confusion for anyone following here.
