Great news on your working pattern less good about the stresses at work. Sounds like we are both going through the same sort of thing I know I am lucky I have a plan B but I really hope people value you and the things you can do and they keep you. Change is just horrible and it is the uncertainty that is the hardest you just want to fast forward but that is wishing your life away.
Haven't you got your trip to the lakes to look forward to soon? I hope you are ok of course.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hi SH - been a bit absent but think I have caught up. Things seem to be stabilising nicely at work for you, although there may be low morale for longer than you may expect. These things are always difficult - but your 4 day week and extra breaks should help with your work life balance. The thought of BH Monday tomorrow is cheering me up immensely and your part time means you will get that every week (*other days are available)I think I saw you in an ice cream parlour

Thanks all. I had best intentions of trapping the cat in so he couldn't disappear before I left but he's had the runs a bit overnight so I let him out and have doors open while I clean up. I've put extra food out for the birds for while I am away.
Just hoping the cat returns before I have to leave. Still need to dress and finish packing. I have a one hour video meeting to go to so there is still time....
