The cleaner sounds about as committed to cleaning as I am 🥴4

Thanks Blackcats, Jessy, TG, CCW and Beanie
She was even slower at cleaning than me. It did motivate me to tidy for an hour this morning before I started work and then later to hoover. I then discovered she'd hoovered up the cord from a hoodie and not unwrapped it which is why even the hoovering she did was ineffective. I fixed it.
My kids would have done a better job at 10 than she did. It was truly shocking. Even the front room she only hoovered the middle square but not next to the sofa etc...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

I want a cleaner but whilst I can justify it I am trying to get this deposit up .. however I am perfectly fit, do have a bot of spare time (which Icould choose to use wiser) plus dont have animals any more which helps. Plus my robot vacuum/mop is helpful though its suddenly got a wobbly wheel
SORRY she was so ineffectual SHDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Thanks BH30, Jwil, LWAP and Sandy.
I spoke to the agent. They only talk to the cleaner and criminal check them. They don't test their skills. If they get 3 bad reviews they let them go. I have another to trial Wednesday.
I am on a mini break. Lovely pub b and b. See DS and his partner at an arboretum shortly. Excited. Need to finish getting ready. Want to plan my year and schedule more regular meet ups as we're not the best at catching up by phone. I am due to see him the week of my birthday in May but want to schedule in other dates too. He lives too far away for casual meet ups.
I also caught up with other family yesterday. Sick relative holding their own but looking increasingly frail. They get their nect scan results this week.
Made quite a bit of art this week but nothing else since Sunday on my new business. I have had the realisation I have 23 months until I need to remortgage so starting new business ASAP could pay dividends particularly if my main job and any PiP eligibility/funding changes. You often need 2 years of 'books'.
