Happy Sunday! I had a lie in this morning and now feel all sluggish. I'm definitely better if I get up early.
I watched the first episode of Lockerbie last night, and enjoyed it. I've also been rewatching Friends so watched a couple of episodes of that too.
I've sorted out the washing, and found some suitable bits that little miss can wear for a dress up day they have at school this week. I don't need to buy anything so that's good. Little jwil is off on a school trip this week, so I need to go out and get what we need for his packed lunch and tea.
Not a lot else planned. I might start looking through paperwork as I do want to find my opticians prescription!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee6 -

That's really kind. Don't feel you need to be a lurker, and well done for getting through my waffle!

I bought more than planned this morning, but that did include some underwear and socks for little miss and also two boxes of reduced eggs so I can do some picked eggs for DH.
We've had a nice roast lunch using more of the Christmas veg and other bits from the cupboard. It's very satisfying seeing the cupboards less crammed.
DH is carrying on with his declutter so that's good, he seems quite enthusiastic about it at the moment, so I'll keep cheering him on.
I've just booked us two cheap weekends away, one next month, and the other in October. The good thing about next month is it falls in half term, so as long as I can get the Monday off work, we'll be able to stay down for the 3 days rather than having to come home on the Sunday as we normally do (DH has already booked the time off). That's something to look forward to"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee7 -
Great to have time away to look forward to x2

I still haven't found my prescription but I have an idea now where it might be. I bagged up a load of stuff when the plumber was around and I dumped it out of the way. It might well be in there.
DH went out to walk the dog so I took advantage of having access to the TV and watched the first episode of Fringe. I loved it before, but never got to the end for some reason. It was like seeing old friends againI've gone from having nothing to watch, to loads to keep me occupied so thank you all for the recommendations. I only tend to watch 1-2 episodes at a time, so it will keep me going for a while. I still like to hear of anything good though.
