I've had a reasonably productive day today. I took two bags of clothing down to the school now the clothing bank has finally been emptied.
Then I took advantage of the fact that everyone was out and sorted through all the Christmas gifts so I know what I've got and what I need to get. I've even wrapped a good proportion of it now, go me! 😇 I've also wrapped little miss's birthday gifts.
I sorted a few things out in the kitchen too and packed a parcel for DH.
I then went to the post office. We went to the Swedish store at the weekend, but couldn't find the thing we were looking for. Came back and ordered it online. Got the text to say it had arrived at the PO yesterday and they couldn't find it. They said to go back today. Again they couldn't find it. I've spent ages just trying to get in touch with someone, it's so frustrating. Finally got through to the store and they are sending replacements which should be here on Monday, and delivered to the house instead. Fingers crossed! It feels like this particular item is jinxed for us
We were meant to be going out this weekend but have decided against it due to the forecast. I hate the motorway in the rain at the best of times! Hope everyone manages to stay safe and warm."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney8 -
Weathers rubbish here too. Just had a conversation with my food shop delivery driver ,he said you know everyone says money doesn't buy happiness then laughed as the wind swept him away. I responded but you'd go home today if you won the lottery wouldn't you and he was almost tempted. Sounds like you've been v productive I'm going to try and make it inspire me to get moving. And I hope the delivery issue gets sorted, it sounds such a faff. And I can so see that your gonna end up with the original one randomly being delivered a few months down the line when they find it. And yay to the empty house to get ahead for Xmas.Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213

I've got my replacement parcel! Just need to open and check it's all ok. We did go back to the PO yesterday to see if it had arrived, but still no luck."If you can dream it, you can do it". Walt Disney6
