Just a quick comment on oven cleaning as it’s a job I hate - we bought a little hand held steamer & it made the job sooo much easier as it really lifts the brown gunky stuff even off the shelves. We also used it to clean the grout in the bathroom & it came up like new. it’s more than paid for itself as I used to book an oven cleaner to come twice a year!Hope your knee continues to ease & you enjoy the market today xx2

That's a good idea, thank you. I might do that with the remaining batter.dawnybabes said:I make a huge batch of waffles and freeze them, pop them in the toaster to reheat"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Happy December!
A nice start to the month with a PAD consisting of ebay money, interest and cashback
I've been up since 4 this morning, but still haven't achieved as much as I wanted to! (I was wide awake, it wasn't a planned get up time!). Heading into the office today which I could do without but I promised a colleague some assistance with something.
Dentist for me and the kids tonight which I could very very much do without! Boiler service on Wednesday and they have texted me to say they will be there at 8am which on the one hand gets it over with but on the other hand is just a big faff. Little miss can at least walk to school on her own now which helps.
Because we haven't been home all weekend (including me being out on Friday), I'm feeling behind on everything, and need some time to tidy round especially the kitchen before Wednesday. So much for having everything sorted by December!
Another item sold for me and 2 for DH so that's good. Later on or tomorrow I'll end all the remaining listings until after last posting dates, so at least there will be a break from that!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". DH's item has paid so that is posted. I'll do the listings tomorrow in case people are browsing for cyber monday.
Dentist done, £123 for the 3 of us, including x rays for me. No issues thankfully, though little miss needs to improve her brushing so I shall be supervising again for now.
Because of the dentist I finished work at 3, but was running about. It was chucking it down and pitch black - not my favourite way to drive across town!
I've eaten a tonne of chocolate today due to general fed up ness."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
If dentist reported no issues then I think one day of chocolate scoffing is fair 😁https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6466032/an-in-between-phase/p1
