Hormonal rage directed in the right direction is majestic, well done you and your righteous hobble 🥂
If knee still feels painful after a couple of days rest go pharmacist and ask them about support options to suit you. I know it's another spend but a wee one in the scheme of things, and being able to do things because you're not in pain is very money saving!3 -

One of my ebay items sold yesterday, so I've padded that today. It was the one I thought was least likely to sell, so I probably priced it right!
Knee is still painful but much improved on what it was. I will probably take it easy for the rest of the week in the hope that it will be much better for the weekend.Just got my shopping receipt for this morning, and my oven cleaner isn't available and no available substitutions. Isn't that a shame?
Little miss confirmed that the unkind children had been spoken to about their behaviour so that's good. Hopefully it is dealt with now.
Work is just bleurgh, and it's not helping with my general grumpiness. I am managing to stick to plan though so I am hoping to get back on track at SW this week."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". A lot of people are suffering with grumpiness at the moment, so you aren’t alone. Maybe due to the weather, Xmas and basically life is so hard for everyone at the moment. I listened to the news the other night and at the end of it turned to my DH and said that it was all doom and gloom and there was not one bit of happiness or positveness in the whole programme. Let’s hope there is light at the end of the tunnel soon, we could all do with abit of good news.:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.001

Sorry to hear that your knee is giving you issues, I hope it eases further. Well done on the PADs, the car payment is coming down very nicely. I'm glad action has been taken for Little Miss, kids can be so cruel, well done for nipping it in the bud.
As for hormones... I agree with @amber03, I am one of those grumpy, hormonal people atm, literally ready to explode at any time, hopefully that too shall pass soon.
Well done with staying on track too

If your knee is painful again I find an old fashioned standard crepe bandage can be helpful and is easier for those of us with larger legs.1

I agree, a bit of cheeriness would be lovely! Everything is doom and gloom.amber03 said:A lot of people are suffering with grumpiness at the moment, so you aren’t alone. Thank you, it is easing off a bit more. I'm hoping the grumpiness will ease soon.beanielou said:Such a shame on the oven cleaner
I know, I'm devastated
Not that I'd be able to kneel down on the floor at the moment anyway (or more realistically, get up again!)ladyholly said:If your knee is painful again I find an old fashioned standard crepe bandage can be helpful and is easier for those of us with larger legs.
Ah, that's a good idea thank you! I'm pretty sure we have one too. My knee is improving, but I'll file that away for if it happens again!

One source of my grumpiness (work) is now done for the week. It's been a full on day where I've had to be explaining different things to different people, so I feel all talked out now.
Little miss is 10 tomorrow, I can't quite believe it! We are visiting family tomorrow after school, and will be doing something at the weekend. She's asked for a meal out so we'll do that on Saturday.
The end of the month seems to have crept up on me, so I need to go through the Christmas stuff and see where I am. I'd like to be done asap, and I think I am, except for fresh food and foody gifts. I need a list and a plan! I'd like to get the tree up this weekend too, but we have our trusty artifical one so no need to buy anything there.
One benefit of DH's change of job is that he will be off between Christmas and New year which will be the first time ever since the kids were born (and probably a lot longer than that!).
My knee is definitely improving but still painful. It's disturbing my sleep as I can't get comfortable with it, but hopefully that will ease soon too. I've been on plan this week apart from a little indulgence in chocolate today, so hopefully that will show on Saturday.
I sold another item yesterday so that has been posted. I will PAD that tomorrow. DH has a non payer which is annoying. After this weekend I'll end our listings until after the last posting dates so we can avoid the postal madness and people who have ridiculous expectations!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
