My GK’s school have stopped going to the pantomime at Xmas due to the costs of hiring coaches to take them. The pantomime is only about 20 mins if that away, but even with the school paying some towards the hire, the remaining amount that would have been picked up by the parents was shocking. Parents agreed with the school.:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.001

Things do get so expensive don't they. At least the school is being considerate.amber03 said:My GK’s school have stopped going to the pantomime at Xmas due to the costs of hiring coaches to take them. It's my last working day of the week today, happy days! Little jwil has his cast removal appointment tomorrow so I booked the day off, as its in the middle of the day and they said to allow 2 hours.
We had a letter from school explaining about why they don't get the coach back (because most parents tend to go anyway), which is fair enough, but why couldn't they explain that sooner - little miss has been asking to go to this since she joined the club in September!
I've done another cashout from a survey site so will have a bit extra to PAD when it arrives."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5
