Thank you, I'll probably have to do that. I don't tend to sell clothes though, I'll have to get over that!Newstartforme said:jwil , huge well done , that's a big loss at this stage of your journey . You could experiment with vinted with size and fit from different brands and sell on anything unsuitable . Hope fireworks went well x
Thank you. I don't know which brands fit as I've only been buying from limited areas. I could stick with them as they do smaller sizes too, but it would be nice to have some choice.MFWannabe said:

I've been buying most of my clothes from a plus size retailer for most of my adult life, because I know how they fit and what size to buy! I think I'm going to be paralysed by indecision and fear that I'll spend money on things that won't fit. The shops around here (both charity and normal) don't seem to have a big stock of larger sizes, so I'll be stuck with online for a little while yet. I'll have to dip my toe in at some point! I have a relative telling me my tops are too baggy, though I still reckon I'll see the winter out with most of what I've got.
I've updated my financial spreadsheets today and done a bit of a money shuffle. I've also updated my spending spreadsheets. It looks like we've made some savings on annual bills this year, but spent more generally. I need to slow that down and bump up the debtbusting/savings really!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". DH and I went into town this morning to pick up a few bits for Xmas. Getting closer to being sorted! I picked up a top in a charity shop which is a size down from where I expect to be and it doesn't fit yet, so that's a good indication. It will be a nice one to shrink into.
We've had a nice roast lunch so am now planning to chill this afternoon."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -

Happy Monday!
I feel motivated today which is unusual
Quite a few people are off work today, so I'm looking forward to (hopefully) having some peace to get stuck in. I'm also not going into the office as there's no point if no one's there!
I've been better at keeping up with surveys recently, so hopefully will be able to cash out soon if I keep going with them."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
Sizes are so random these days so I feel your pain, a friend recently gave me some jeans she'd bought as they were way too big for her, they were from a well known fashionable brand and were labelled in her size but fit me- I'm at least two sizes bigger than her 🙄1

Well done. I fell off the diet wagon and just ccant get back on even though I know I need to to. Also well done to your dh on shifting stuff. I am jealous.

It's really hard isn't it, even if you follow the measurements on the site it's no guarantee anything will fit!PennysIntoPounds said:Sizes are so random these days so I feel your pain, a friend recently gave me some jeans she'd bought as they were way too big for her, they were from a well known fashionable brand and were labelled in her size but fit me- I'm at least two sizes bigger than her 🙄
Sorry you fell off the wagon, it's hard when there's a lot going on. I've been wavering for a few weeks now, but seem to have my mojo back again now. I feel your pain with the stuff - he's made a start but there's still some there!ladyholly said:Well done. I fell off the diet wagon and just ccant get back on even though I know I need to to.
