Thank youPennysIntoPounds said:Hello, thanks for all your posts on my diary, hope there's room for a little one (okay, medium sized) here on yours!
I've had a wee read-back, and you have had a lot to deal with lately, well done for keeping going with the stress of the car, your work, DH's work, little jwil's trousers and arm, and little miss's appointments and diagnosis
And you've still been smashing it with the weight loss, sales, car payments and PADs! 👏
It's always lovely to have visitors. Thanks for reading! "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
The pile of stuff has not disappeared, but has reduced a fair amount, it's a start!
We're off to a firework display tonight.
I've got a nice little pile of stuff to sell, I just need to try and motivate myself to do it!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -

It's only low value stuff, so I doubt there would be enough to buy much - probably why the motivation to list it is low!beanielou said:Absolutely fantastic result for you with SW. Be very proud of yourself.

It's good on both parts. "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -

Speaking of clothes, I've been browsing a bit on vinted as I will at some point need to get something, and I don't really know where to start!
I've been buying most of my clothes from a plus size retailer for most of my adult life, because I know how they fit and what size to buy! I think I'm going to be paralysed by indecision and fear that I'll spend money on things that won't fit. The shops around here (both charity and normal) don't seem to have a big stock of larger sizes, so I'll be stuck with online for a little while yet. I'll have to dip my toe in at some point! I have a relative telling me my tops are too baggy, though I still reckon I'll see the winter out with most of what I've got.
I've updated my financial spreadsheets today and done a bit of a money shuffle. I've also updated my spending spreadsheets. It looks like we've made some savings on annual bills this year, but spent more generally. I need to slow that down and bump up the debtbusting/savings really!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". jwil , huge well done , that's a big loss at this stage of your journey . You could experiment with vinted with size and fit from different brands and sell on anything unsuitable . Hope fireworks went well x2
