Happy Sunday!
I'm feeling motivated today so going to get some stuff done around the house. I've nagged DH about his stuff reminding him we'd have no room for the tree, and his response was 'we aren't putting the tree up yet' 🙄
He's planning on doing a tip run today, so I shall try and do a bit more in the garden. At least car boot season is finished now so nothing else will be entering the house for a while.
I've boiled some eggs up to keep in the fridge for the week. Cottage pie planned for lunch.
DH has prepped a few listings, so I might get myself organised and photo my few bits and get them done as well."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Sounds like a very busy day Hope you got a lot achieved.

I can only empathise with DHs stuff. As you know I still have the contents of the garage in the conservatory, a dining table full of his stuff, 2 boxes of assrted tools from my bil in the lounge pluse 2 bedrooms full of who knows what. Thats not to mention the attic which is pretty full. I live in hope though.2

My house is "Abandon all hope". Roommate won't even go out and look and see what of her stuff has fallen over and gotten damaged when the metal shelf unit collapsed from old age. The rest of the house is a tip also.1

I can see your habits have changed (boiled eggs in the fridge) and that is consistent with your excellent weight loss. Well done.If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

It's so frustrating isn't it. When I think back to when we moved in here, we've made so much progress, but there's still a long way to go.ladyholly said:I can only empathise with DHs stuff. It's so hard dealing with others who just don't care/see the mess. I feel your pain.weenancyinAmerica said:My house is "Abandon all hope". There are definitely some habits changing, and I think going to group is definitely helping keeping me on track. "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
I didn't do the listings yesterday, I just don't want to deal with it! DH hasn't moved his stuff, but did assure me he would. We did spend a lot of time out in the garden before he went to the tip and it's looking much better out there now, so that's progress!
I had horrible dreams last night and the emotion has stayed with me today. It's also been a very challenging day, and everyone in the house has been reminded that I am working and every time they interrupt me, expect me to pick them up, do things for them, I have to make up the time which makes my days very long. Whilst my work is flexible, there are limits, so some new ground rules have been set.
I went into the office today, and got back to walking which feels good. Job evaluation is about to commence, so that's more stress we don't need.
I think I just want to head to bed and write off today!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -

I hope you are ok - these days re sent to try us, but it sounds like you have nipped it in the bud quite quickly, I hope things improve and tomorrow is a brighter dayjwil said:I didn't do the listings yesterday, I just don't want to deal with it!
