I think I will have to do more with eggs, but minced beef hash sounds lovely too and I could make a big batch of that. Thank youjoedenise said:
If I don't want to use my HEB I have things like omelettes. I also make a minced beef hash sometimes which is quite filling as it has LO potatoes in it, along with lots of veg - I usually add mushrooms, peppers and onions but can add anything you like from the fridge.jwil said:

It feels nice to be organised. It's difficult when it's colder, salad and fruit just isn't doing it for me at the moment!
I eat less when it's warm. I've turned the thermostat up a bit for that reason! I am doing soups etc. I need to sort out my breakfasts, I think fruit and yoghurt isn't doing it for me, and I could do with something warmer and more substantial which will hopefully make me snack less! I don't want to use my HEB for breakfast though so it needs to be lower carb. I do sometimes have soup for breakfast which I should probably do more!joedenise said:I eat lots of soups for lunch. Evening meals things like curries, stews and casseroles.
I actually prefer the winter eating to the summer. I never find salad very filling so I'm more likely to snack!
I didn't get on with android. This tablet is quite old so the capacity is a lot lower than the new one - it's because I have so many books etc downloaded. The apps I've downloaded for little miss barely take up any space at all, and she's got lots of space to add more.I_Love_comps said:The reason why I have android. Is because the space doesn't fill up so quick .
I have been with my OH for a game of bowling this afternoon. It was great fun .
Glad you enjoyed bowling, it's good fun, even if I'm rubbish at it

Happy Friday, Happy Halloween and Happy payday!
I've had a productive morning so far. Walked the dog, done the money shuffle and updated spreadsheets. I had a look at my breakdown renewal and did a comparison. Found the exact same cover with the same company as I have for half the price. So I phoned them up and told them they were taking the mick so I was going to cancel. They promptly matched it and gave me a discounted upgrade of something I needed to add too, so that's a £60 saving on the renewal quote!
Our bedding has been washed and is drying. Kids have been fed. Some shopping done so I don't have to over the weekend. Gammon cooked for lunch.
I did my measurements this morning and most are down again from last month so that's all good
I need to get back to exercising more, it's dropped off the last couple of weeks with shuttling the kids around. Now little jwil has his cast, he can get back to walking to school, so I'll get back to walking down with little miss. I need to do more weights/strength bearing exercise too. We got the 50% off bowling too, which made it a good deal. I like to be done by December as well, it makes life so much easier.
Have a good Halloween too

I just find shopping so stressful, I don't mind having a mooch around the shops just browsing, but if I've got to find something I hate it.in_need_of_direction said:i deliberately hold back on some of what's needed until December. i kinda like the last minute push"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". @jwil, I totally agree - you've done so well to be so organised. I'm not far off but, I too don't like shopping when I have to, would much rather just browse shops and online

My DH likes to leave it all to the last minute as well. I prefer to have it done. "Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
