He is definitely pleased, particularly as it's rugby and he hates it!
Though I went through all that faff in the summer trying to find him boots that fit and now he can't use them anyway 🤦♀️😆"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee1 -

I maintained yesterday at SW which is probably better than deserved! We then went out to a couple of Christmas fayres which was nice. I've hurt my knee over the last few days somehow, not quite sure when. We were going to go in town today, but my knee is very painful so we probably won't, though actually moving it might help more than sitting around at home!
DH said to me yesterday, relating to something from whilst we were out and about 'you wouldn't have done that last year'. He's absolutely right, and I didn't even think about it yesterday. So it does remind me, that even though I'm struggling at the moment, I have come a long way this year!
I did 4 listings for DH yesterday and 1 for me that he had prepped. I still have other stuff to list as well, but might wait until after the Christmas rush now, as I plan on having our usual break from ebay after next weekend.
I need to get car insurance quotes for me as I've had my renewal."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee5 -
We didn't go into town in the end, but did nip to the shops. It's hard walking on my knee, so I don't think I'll be going into the office this week as I don't fancy the stairs.
I did finally get round to listing my items, so that's another 13 done on top of the one I did earlier. It's only low value stuff, so nothing life changing. A parcel packed for DH.
I've done my car insurance renewal, and only one quote is very marginally cheaper than my renewal so I'll probably stay where I am. I do need to check through all the paperwork though to check it's all still suitable with the new car."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". It all adds up jwil, that's great listings work
Might it help to get some knee tubi-grip so you're a teeny bit more supported, or at least getting better feedback from your knee about when certain movements are a bit much at the moment?1 -
Hope your knee pain eases, it affects so many activities which is especially tricky at the time of year when there is lots going on1

I have rather large legs so finding a knee support that fits was almost impossible. The one I did have I recently decluttered as it was useless and kept rolling down. I'm hoping just a couple of quieter days will ease it off a little bit.
Thank you, I agree, it's definitely the wrong time of year for this!teapot2 said:Hope your knee pain eases, it affects so many activities which is especially tricky at the time of year when there is lots going on

My knee has been very painful today again, but it seems to be marginally better this evening, so hopefully a couple of days resting will help. It's not the same knee that used to hurt when I started picking up the exercising, so I think I must have injured it somehow.
I am very full of hormonal rage today which is not great, and it was probably not the best day for the school when little miss came out from her after school club upset because some of the other children had been unkind to her. I marched hobbled straight back there to speak to the teacher.
I have managed to restrain myself from eating all the chocolate in the world today though, so that is a success. I probably ought to take myself off to bed with a book to avoid biting DH's head off too many times!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do".
