I now feel like Christmas has officially started. I managed to finish everything I wanted to before our friends popped in, so I can relax now. We popped to the supermarket after they'd been, which was not a great idea, but at least I don't need to worry now, as I picked up the milk and a couple of other items that I'd forgotten.
Me and the kids have been watching Christmas films this afternoon - started with the Grinch, the animated version which I hadn't seen before, and I thought that was really nice. Then the Nightmare before Christmas, then One Magic Christmas which I watched alone as it always makes me cry.
It's nice just to chill!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee4 -
Sounds like a wonderful afternoon, enjoy and have a lovely Christmas xx2

Happy Christmas eve everyone!
It's a nice feeling not to have to do anything today. It's a chill out day for sure. DH is working still today but he's off tomorrow and Boxing day. We'll have a takeaway tonight so no cooking.
I'll be prepping the veg for tomorrow but not much else planned.
