The 2lb could be water retention, have you been drinking enough water? I know this sounds a contradiction in terms 😆
It could be.  I do tend to drink a lot, and I only drink water, but I think I might not have been drinking enough over the last few days.

I had a little mini binge on chocolate last night, nothing like what I was eating before, but probably the equivalent of a 100g bar on top of the magnum I normally have.  It didn't make me feel great, and what was interesting was it made my heart rate jump back to the 'old' level.  It shows that eating well does make a difference!

I've sorted through my clothes and put some out, and the kids have done the same.  I noticed the bank is looking much fuller today, but I reckon there's still enough space to squeeze some bags in later.  If not there's plenty of other clothing banks in the area, I just like the school to get the funds.

It was so sad to see about the school bus crash on Exmoor.  We were just there at the weekend.  The children are roughly the same age as little miss.  It's just unimaginable waving your child off on a school trip for them not to come home again :(  Just sitting in the front room, it was on the local news and we could hear all the sirens of the ambulances heading to the hospital.

Our water refund has arrived today :)  I've popped it into my new current account which is paying 5% for a year, and then we can just dip into it as and when.

It looks as though our new DD is going to be £90 a month.  That still seems high to me but we'll see how it goes.  Even if it does stay at that, it's around £200 a year cheaper than we were paying.

My thought re the coach crash is that I just pray his parents sent him to school in a happy mood and hadnt told him off for something. I cant imagine what they a going through. There was a lot about it on our local news and it wa so sad to see so many children hugging their head teacher in floods of tears.having left flowers outside the school.

I’m glad everything is going well jwil. You are storming ahead on Duolingo. I switched to German, but have managed to keep my streak by doing a small lesson a day.
