UK Bank Account for Payment of French AGIRC/ARRCO Pension

I am a newbie to the forum and have a question on payment of a French AGIRC/ARRCO pension into a UK bank account.
I am in the process of claiming a French pension from the time I worked there back in the early nineties. I now live back in the UK.
It has been a painful process as you have to claim it through the DWP and they twice lost or forgot about my claim. Only when I prompted them a third time did something happen. I first contacted them in April and it took them until the end of October to send my information to the French authorities. By contrast the French seem responsive and helpful (famous last words).
I have a form to fill in for the French social security authorities to specify which bank account I want the pension paid into. In classic French style I need it signed and stamped by the bank.
Do people have any advice on a good (euro?) bank account to use, including the fact that they need to complete this form in French. This would seem to rule out some of the online virtual banks.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,
This forum is quite general for what is quite a complicated question.
You would be better off reposting here.

If it makes you feel any better the Canadian pension system also requires bank details to be verified by the receiving bank - so a form that needs to be dated and signed by an officer of the bank. I pointed out to them that the branch where the money should be paid to doesn't have any appointments for a lengthy time which will unnecessarily delay receipt of the pension. The response was a somewhat Gallic shrug.
Meanwhile I've asked for this to be moved to the Bank Accounts forum as that seems to be more appropriate.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe and Old Style Money Saving boards. HSBC would probably work. Use their EUR currency account to receive. You can then transfer elsewhere for converting to GBP (Trading 212, Atlantic, Wise etc) or HSBC use Global Money Account to exchange to GBP or spend in EUR. You would need an HSBC current account to open the currency and GMA accounts.1

Please don't. Your thread is already on the Banking board, which is the best place for it, and duplicating threads on multiple boards is bad forum etiquette.
