Eek, not good, I also went for a simple keyhole removal but woke up in a different room and a 3” incision - they’d had to convert it to open surgery.  After a few days I bounced back.

He’s in the best place to get fixed, hope he’s home soon x

Somehow I missed Mr SL being in hospital. I am so sorry.   I do hope the weekend is comfortable and you have news on Monday.  Sending love
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!

@Sun_Addict do you happen to know if there were any long-term impacts on your daughter's friend's bowel?

Both Mr Sl's siblings have had bowel cancer. My brother in law died from complications (well, no pressure stockings caused a clot to hit his heart) after having a stent fitted when he had just been diagnosed with S4 bowel cancer, and my sister in law had bowel cancer diagnosed last month through resultant familial screening (like me, she has three-yearly interventions) and had the op on Friday.
