Eek, not good, I also went for a simple keyhole removal but woke up in a different room and a 3” incision - they’d had to convert it to open surgery. After a few days I bounced back. He’s in the best place to get fixed, hope he’s home soon xSealed pot challenge 822

@Sun_Addict do you happen to know if there were any long-term impacts on your daughter's friend's bowel?Sun_Addict said:Hope Mr SL recovers quickly. My daughter is having the same op on Friday. Her friend had the same experience as Mr SL.
Both Mr Sl's siblings have had bowel cancer. My brother in law died from complications (well, no pressure stockings caused a clot to hit his heart) after having a stent fitted when he had just been diagnosed with S4 bowel cancer, and my sister in law had bowel cancer diagnosed last month through resultant familial screening (like me, she has three-yearly interventions) and had the op on Friday.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I saved £14,660.97 of £6000 or 244.35% of my target. The 2026 Save £12k in 2026 thread is here
OS Grocery Challenge in 2025 I finished the year at £2880.99/£3000 or 96.03% of my annual spend so I am sticking with a £3000 annual budget for 2026
