I suspect we're looking at a board failure.Take the memory out and switch it on (without the memory). It should beep at you. If it does the issue is caused by a faulty module (or controller, but more likely the module). If it still doesn't beep take the graphics card out as well.Typically three beeps for memory, eight for graphics. You won't get both, you'll get one or the other depending on what gets initialised first. If you get nothing, its almost certainly a dead board. Processors can fail but more likely the board will go first.0

At this point I think I'd be thinking about replacing the whole unit with a second hand 5year old (or so) OEM system (like HP/Dell etc - old office machines) that can pop up on ebay etc at quite good prices. That way you'd get a windows11 ready machine for the next 10years or so
You should also be able to return the graphics card to Amazon
Do your own research, obviously, but Intel 8th gen and newer is windows 11 compatible. Here's a link to candidates on ebay I put together: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_nkw=+intel+i5&_sacat=171957&LH_BIN=1&Brand=Dell|HP&_dcat=171957&rt=nc&_udhi=1900 -

All the cables are OK internallyIt beeps correctly when the RAM is removedThe processor cooling fan spins and it makes the usual noises at boot upI have replaced the BIOS battery and don't have a ps/2 keyboard - only a USB oneSurely - even if that was the case - I would see "something" on the screen at boot up - even an error message or something elseAs it is - I see absolutely ziltch !!

My best guess is that when reset the bios by removing the battery, it went back to defaults. Probably defaulted to integrated graphics as supported by the chip, but not by the motherboard. Not sure of the way out other than replacing the motherboard.0

I still think you need a ps/2 kb , https://www.amazon.co.uk/s?k=ps%2F2+to+usb&crid=5P4QQC9E7KB1&sprefix=ps%2F2%2Caps%2C205&ref=nb_sb_ss_ts-doa-p_1_4

I have done a software rebuild of this and many other PC's (via Format) many times in the past and have never had any issues with the keyboard - in fact I have used an ancient wireless keyboard that connects straight away !!
