Broadband from Now or Plusnet ?

It's funny because my sisters address also has this postcode error thing. Is this something you can get fixed at the post office or wherever they sort out the addresses, or is it just a Plusnet thing?Ivegotaquestion2 said:
So I phoned them up waited 15 minutes on hold with music. After around 20 minutes of conversation and questions they cannot resolve the issue and will not offer me broadband through either Plusnet or EE !housebuyer143 said:
A little impatient to only wait 6-7 minutes tbh. Plusnet have very good customer service but they are not going to know how to resolve the complex issues right away, especially if they haven't done it before.Ivegotaquestion2 said:Wellit's gotten interesting. Both Now and Plusnet websites use a postcode address checker that does not give my correct address. There is no way of editing it myself and both give a phone number to call.
The Now one gos to a generic Sky sales department somewhere in deepest India I suspect. I could not understand the operative most of the time. I'm not sure she understood the address problem. I'm not sure she knew what Now broadband is. I don't thing she believed the £22pm price I had on my screen. She kept asking me about how many devices I have and what sports package I wanted. I gave up so shan't be bothering Now (Sky) again.
Over at Plusnet the operative was a lovely sounding lady who did indeed realise the address problem and confirmed it was wrong by popping my postcode in her checker. She then asked me to hold on a second while she checked something out. About 6 or 7 minutes of silence elapsed so I gave there as well!
Be more patient, put your phone on speaker and do something else until she comes back0 -
The official post office checker and some of the Broadband suppliers have a correct checker. The Plusnet agent said I have to get BT to rectify it. God knows what department would do that as BT's system recognises my address. Had a lengthy call with BT and they wont reduce my £49pm charge. It's like they know I cant jump ship. Talk Talk have no problem taking me on and are asking £28pm.
