Well I'm glad your meeting and festive gathering went well, and that the tree is up without you having to do ALL of it. Perhaps a good reminder to others that they CAN assist too... well done xx2

What a fabulous post, it made me smile
Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -
@Cheery_Daff - haha - they all CAN but don't - the self-actuating folk now live elsewhere in the building!
@Cherryfudge - they are lovely folk for the most part - minions tend to stick together but not everyone is a Kevin, Stuart, Bob, or Mel! - the migraine started to lift slightly yesterday evening and my head was quite clear this morning, but a morning of very stressful work projects (dealing with the The Vicious 6) and having a poorly OH at home with me is bringing it back on! This weekend can't come soon enough!

Spent all of Saturday lolling about in PJs! I did however do 10 minute bursts every hour to tackle as many chores as possible, all of those that OH is no longer able to do easily. It was so grey we were both lulled into mid-day naps in the living room, which felt most decadant. Yesterday afternoon was spent watching a light movie on FruityTV. We have really been gettting our value out of that subscription, as we have been watching movies on the weekend, OH is watching a series during the week and I've taken to spending my time travelling home watching one myself which actually leaves me feeling more rested than a kip!
Migraine has almost gone completely, coinsiding with the departure of she who shall not be named, for a 3 week vacation. I"m fully aware that feeling like I'm doing 4 full time jobs is a major factor in suffering this week and we will be on the look out at the very least for a cleaner to do the weekly deep clean of kitchen and bathroom. OH will pick up the bill for this himself, as this aspect of our lives has been his responsibility for 10 years, and for which I am very thankful. Also knowing that I've only got one day of paid leave left is a bit stressful as it means being docked pay for the next three months when I need to take time off for OH's care.
So next year will mean tightening our belts as there is no way I can afford the large overpayments that have happened for most of this year in addition to all the extra expenses that go along with palliative care for OH. We won't suffer financially but neither are we rolling in it so extra caution is needed.
