All looking good @rtandon27; cover for discriminatory dismissal?! They must be readers of this thread...I'd love to join your outing but can't in September. Hopefully next time. Love Humdinger xx

oh boo - too bad @Humdinger1 - next time hun!
I know - go figure - it's that an odd one to cover?! - well I've still got the whole policy to print out and read but I was rather impressed by what it did cover - which reminds me that I need to check my medical and life insurance cover as I'm sure there is also a clause in there about redundancy over the age of 44! - not sure what is so magical about 44 - but my terms and conditions for the severance payment also quote that magical age!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Third round of sham consultation completed yesterday! Today my top to-do is filling in my ACAS form.
Then my grievance and filling in my medical form for the root canal tomorrow - also need to get signed off for recovery from surgery!4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Gosh, sounds like you're going to need a stiff gin at the end of all that 😬

I hope the forms behave themselves and you can get them out of the way.

I think 44 is the magic number because each year you've worked 45 or over is counted as 1.5 years when calculating statutory redundancy

@Cheery_Daff - haha - I really needed a stiff gin last night, but could not convince my mate at work to leave a bit early and go across the road to the pub! - came home and had McD's for dinner instead - it is still as vile as ever!
@Cherryfudge - just figuring out that the form was the real trigger and not the optional initial conversation was a chore and involved days of detective work! Fingers crossed the actual form is easier!
@thriftmonster - that is an interesting point about 44 - I did not know that & will have to look it up as in my actually severance draft calculation, the 1.5 start for each full year starts from 41 and up.4 YEARS 10 MONTHS DEBT FREE!!! Turns out that the dental forms were an easy win - I'd already filled them in before my appointment last week so no need to update again! There is however a paper agreement he gave me with the estimate that i need to sign before surgery!

Well done. I have a lot of things I'm ignoring - like paperwork for the IFA for a start. And changing mobile and BB suppliers for cheaper ones. All of it seems very hard work at the moment!

@greenbee - I have the draft ACAS stuff done, but I'm finding it hard to be motivated. I've been sticking to the three things list lately - my top three for the day - all else can wait, which somehow turns into getting the little bits done while procrastinating on the big ones!
