The OP wants an esim option. RWG only offer an esim using the Three network which is what ID Mobile also use.alanjones60 said:RWG runs on both EE and 3, with different bundles
You just pick the network you want when you order0 -
kwackerjeff said:I went with Spusu middle of September after buying phone in their approved list of compatible phones.
Cancelled yesterday as they are unable to get wifi calling working, which works fine wit 1p mobile and Lebara. What phone was that? I’ve had no problem with either iPhone or Samsung.====0 -
At the time an Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro + 5g was in the list but over the time from having sim they have never got it to work. Even contacted Xiaomi and they said it was their end. 1p mobile and Lebara would work fine so phone was not the problem. The phone has now disappeared from compatible list.

Earlier this morning I went to checkout a SIM only (SPUSU), selected to keep my number and entered the PAC. The date for the number transfer showed as 19/11/24 without any alternatives. Too late for me, I needed 9th Nov. at the very latest.Has anyone any idea as to why this 3 weeks delay?I have e-mailed them the question.0

If you read it, the smart sim is a £5 add-on top of your regular sim. It is designed to keep you connected to those 100 apps when your main sim has no signal. Also, a lot of people use WhatsApp nowadays to text and make calls (WhatsApp being one of the 100 apps). Paying £5 a month extra to get that extra connectivity is potentially worth it instead of forking out for a more expensive sim which includes minutes and texts.d123 said:
£5 a month and you can only access apps they’ve approved? With no minutes or texts either?jbrassy said:You could consider the Honest Mobile smart sim which connects to EE, O2 and Three: https://join.honestmobile.com/smart-sim
Designed for people like you.Seems like a terrible idea.
It's not a 'terrible' idea as you suggest.0 -
I did read it, rather more closely than you seem to have. It is a terrible idea if you expect the Smart Sim to give you WhatsApp Calling, that functionality is explicitly NOT supported, just Messaging.jbrassy said:

It's not a 'terrible' idea as you suggest. Can I make WhatsApp calls?Afraid not. You can message to your heart's content, but for now, can't make calls.

it doesn’t have any capability for phone calls
it can’t send text messages
it can’t even make WhatsApp calls (which are fairly useless when needing to phone someone on their landline)
it can only use data for a handful of pre-approved apps (not ones you can choose, ones Honest choose
it costs £5 a month for that small amount of capability
and you think it’s not a terrible idea?====2 -
Just realised that none of the "allowed" apps is a browser, which makes sense since that would allow you to circumvent their usage restrictions in most cases.it can only use data for a handful of pre-approved apps (not ones you can choose, ones Honest choose1 -
In answer to my own question, here's the reply from SPUSU. Don't expect a quick number port from Lebara to them."Good Afternoon,
Thanks for getting in touch. Could I ask who you are porting in from? If it is Lebara the delay is due to some technical issues we have been experiencing with Lebara on our side. Unfortunately in this case we would not be able to bring it forward and the 19th would be the first available date. If you are not porting in from Lebara, please let me know,"
