dawnybabes said:I save my Shoppix up as each voucher gets ‘cheaper’ if you get the bigger ones
Not much to update as I was poorly yesterday, but it mean 3 NSDs in a row so every cloud....!
Hoping for another today as still not feeling great. Need broccoli but still have my £1.65 voucher to use so I'll nip out later.
Another couple of tiny sales on Vinted, so will pay those off the extra tickets when the money comes through. I think that is probably everything sold now though 😕

Morning all
An early start today to get some of my 2nd job done before 1st job! Should have been paid by them today but haven't been, so luckily I had enough in a savings account to cover my loan payment. Hopefully it's just a Christmas delay, as it's only a tiny company and most of the staff are volunteers.
Another NSD yesterday - didn't end up going out for broccoli as rejigged the meal plan. I found a thread over on Old Style about Reverse Meal Planning (shopping from your own stores first) which I usually do anyway, but am doubling down now as need to defrost the freezer, so need to get it as empty as I can!
All meals from stores today, DS will eat lunch at school.
DH gets paid today but we're trying to pretend he hasn't as he shouldn't really get paid for another week. I get paid Friday, but again, trying to ignore it! I don't think we're doing anything this weekend anyway as DS has lost interest in doing 'festive' stuff and we're going away first weekend in January so need to save as much as possible before then.
Did a big declutter yesterday of the arts & crafts box as DS hasn't touched it for ages - nothing that can be sold, but got one of two baskets emptied and contents recycled, and can now use that basket for blankets. Need to try and get some more decluttering done, but will probably do that during the quiet time over Christmas.
Going to try for another NSD today - dinner is toasted paninis and herby fries, with rocket salad - still have that £1.65 voucher to use so will pick up salad on my way home.
OK - I think that's everything. Have great days all!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Hi Lilian, I have been reading your diary and wanted to say how well you are doing. I hope you have received your wages from your 2nd job also, it is a good idea to 'hide' your wages from your main job as January seems such a long month without being tempted to start spending your money early.
I will keep reading - good luck with your journey.

Thank you for joining me @Cara_ and @Sarahwithlove.
Not been too well the past few days so very little spending, although I did have to venture out yesterday to get my few Christmas cards posted. While I was out I used mine and my DHs £2 off Coop spend voucher in combination with the 3 for £4 freezer bundle, so got 24 nuggets, 4 x fish and 4 x tempura chicken for £4. That'll see DS through a few meals!
Have to go out again today to get my Vinted parcel sent, hopefully enough room in the InPost locker nearest to me so I don't have to go too far. It's brand new so doesn't show on the live availability app.
Meals today will mainly be from stores but will head out later to check on YS as this £1.65 voucher for Tesco is still burning a hole in my pocket and we have very little veg in the house.
Waiting patiently for my usual payday to arrive so I can get some budgeting done for January! I feel like there isn't much point doing any Ebaying/Vinteding now as things won't arrive before Christmas so doubt anyone will buy anything.
Hope everyone has lovely days!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Morning all
NSD again yesterday as just stayed home. But I HAVE to go and get that Vinted parcel sent this morning so am already showered and dressed and will head straight out when DS goes to school.
Will nip to Tesco for bread using that £1.65 voucher, then I think all other meals will be from stores today. Remembered I'd made risotto so DH and I can have that and DS can have a freezer tea, he is very picky.
In work tomorrow for the last time before Christmas, train already paid for. Speaking of trains, did lots of Delay Repay claims this week.
Finally got the £10 back from Airtime Rewards that wasn't processing onto my O2 so that has gone to the extra tickets. Really can't wait to get them paid off!
OK I think that's everything. Have great days everyone.My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Morning all
Final day in the office until next Friday today, working Monday and Tuesday but from home.
Made my monthly payments today, signature updated.
Finally done with Christmas shopping, just a couple of things to return to Sports Direct and will get a credit note for those, but DS wants football boots for his birthday in January so that can go towards those.
Meals from stores today, although not sure about tea as DS might be going out. If he does, DH and I will have jacket potatoes and ratatouille. If not, we'll get some frozen pizzas and watch a film.
Sold a magazine on Ebay which I'll post tomorrow.
Found a penny on the street for my penny jar!
OK, think that's all. Have good days everyone!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Your payments towards the debt are adding up nicely. Having a plan for meals makes it easier and less wasteful and I find when I haven't got a plan, we end up eating something quick and then eating rubbish during the evening.
I'm reminded of the quote about finding a penny and it bringing good luck so I hope your does.
Have a good weekend.2 -

Good morning, I’ve been a long time lurker on the forum and have just joined and started my diary. We sound pretty similar, I’m used to living quite frugally, and love to travel, but it’s the one off spends that catch me out. I’ve heard of monzo, but don’t know much about it. I’ve not got separate pots as such, but have my main account a savings account and an odds and ends account….might look into monzo.Anyway, just wanted to say you are doing great, here to cheer you on. Have a lovely weekend x1
