Welcome back round and MMM [waves]
I've had a good day out with K, W and M. and there was plenty to hold our interest in the house and Museum of Childhood. The only downside was the travelling - 40 miles each way - but we coped. I lost count of the traffic lights that went red just as we approached them! The section through the National Forest was particularly beautiful with the trees turning.
Rosie went out for her usual walk with L this morning, stayed home alone this afternoon while DH went for a blood test, and was very pleased to see me when I got home. DH has gone out this evening. Some of the neighbours have been having fireworks parties, so Rosie has been hiding under my desk next to my feet. It's gone quiet outside now, though, so she's gone downstairs to her "nest" with the pheromone diffuser, where she feels safe.
Flying today has consisted of plumping up the sofa cushions and unloading and re-loading the DW. Tomorrow I must drag the Dy$0n out. I also need to do a food shop.
Hope everyone has a good weekend xxx6 -
Morning all. Glad you had a lovely day out Iona.
I'm up early as I'm actually joining DH to do the big shop this month and he wants to leave by 7am. He's still in bed though.
Plan for today then - shopping, breakfast, walk Poppet, dailies and then because my knee has been playing up, I'm going to rest it while having an afternoon of knitting.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -
Morning xx
First day of my week off so I was up at 7 am.(My body is still on BST 😉). I've made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, completed Wordle in four, completed Connections with no lives lost, completed NYT Strands...a new game introduced to me this week; sorted washing into loads, set first load swishing, and had a brew. First brew went cold while I was reading. I think I've worked out whodunit...but I could be wrong.
Had my hair cut after work yesterday then called to see DB and DSil (dropping off presents for DNiece and DGreatNiece who both have a birthday on 7th November)..so I was out of the house from 7.45 am til 7.15 pm. I turnexround and it was bedtime!!!
This morning P & S are calling for coffee. And I told Pops I'd go see him today so that's a job for this afternoon.
But first:
Saturdailies
Shower & dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Put new bin bags in bins
WUDUPA
Update birthday list
Update Christmas list
Put parcels away
Have a good day.

Welcome back MM.Wordle in 5, 4 lines in Connections with two lives lost after I realised I needed a new strategy for it when the most obvious group isn't a group at all. That worked.Yesterday I ran out of steam after I unboxed the air fryer and sorted out where it should go,which involved sorting out a few cupboards first. I'm still not entirely happy with the result but I knew this would be the issue with buying it. I can live with the current arrangements.I found a bottle of bleach that I'd put on an outside window sill weeks ago, diluted what was left in it and sprayed the whole lot on the lower part of the back alley where I ran out of J3y3s fluid. I had the hardest time tracking down another bottle of that stuff but found it in my first visit to a new Bee and Emm store on Thursday. Huge. Full of stuff. Interesting.I also sorted out a huge pile of stuff to go in the brown rubbish bin so I filled up two binbags that needs to go. There's more so I want to fill that bin, not really to stop a neighbour who always takes our binbags out of our bin and puts them in his own so he only wheels two bins around to the front. There will be three this week. He doesn't go through our rubbish but even so sometimes it feels like he's inspecting it. He's the kind of person who makes negative personal judgemental comments but always as 'a joke'. I don't like it. I liked Nelly's comment on Bake Off: An Extra Slice - pay someone a complimentI wanted to spend this week at my desk sorting out the months long backlog of paperwork but got side-tracked so I'm going to spend most of today at my desk because what I actually did this week was far more physically taxing than I had the energy for. I'm a bit cream-crackered.Better is good enough.6

Well, it certainly looks like I did the right thing taking the leap and coming back here to hold myself accountable as I had a productive day yesterday.
My list for today

Spend 2 hours on uni work
Speak to DH regarding finances
Spend an hour on uni revision notes
Declutter uni email inbox
Dust laptops
Delete 10 links in your favourites that you no longer use or are dead!

Hi all
Nice day here, had a lie in then went to the big out of town shopping centre for a few things.
I am currently feeling a bit stung, I have two SILs who live nearby and we used to meet up every six weeks or so for a night out. They have started going out and not inviting me and I have no idea why. DS has just messaged and said they are in a restaurant and why am I not with them, getting that message made me feel awful.
Flying needs to happen tomorrow.6
