  • Hey peeps, congratulations to everyone on their pots. It's been an up and down money year for me (education, wedding, moving out etc etc.) so I'm leaving with a small amount of £25.03 which I'm very happy with. I'm not likely to sign back on here for a bit due to wedding on Saturday but thank you all for being a positive light on the internet, this has been lovely.  :)

Morning, I'm checking in to declare £8038.51 as my total this year.

I have been lucky enough to be able to save this and it's far more than I had anticipated. As you probably know from my previous pots, this funds my travels and Christmas, plus a treat for me at our black Friday get away. It will all start again tomorrow for me and  I will be including my dice and envelope challenges again. Saving definitely feels better than spending.

Thank you so much @Sue-UU for running this again, keeping us motivated and caring about us. We really do appreciate it <3

    Well done everyone!

    It's DECLARATION DAY folks!
    -----------------------------------------

    Have a wonderful Thursday!!!

WOW LMD £8,038.51 really is an amazing amount potted!!!! 👏👏👏 Although I knew it would be LARGE, but.....!! 😱
Still, when I think of all the Dice amounts which were pretty big in themselves I knew you were bound to be declaring big time. Anyway, very very well done indeed!
I agree, spending very soon fritters away and becomes waste, but saving can get you things you need rather than just want.
Brilliant work LMD and great spends to come, enjoy it all!
You're certainly very welcome indeed, it's a real pleasure. See you tomorrow on SPC 19 😀
I hope hubby is slowly recovering well, our love to him ❤️

Hello Lucy! What a darned shame you still haven't been able to get that drawer open! 😡 Still, hopefully it'll make an even larger amount for you next year...if you can get a large enough sledge hammer! 😂😂
Still, you've got a brilliant sum of £124.56!!!👏👏 which all things considered is pretty darn good!! 😀 No wonder you're thrilled with it.
We'll see you over on SPC 19 tomorrow or asap!
Take great care of yourself and the family 😘

    Sue

#20 Getting in early (for me!) and declaring £1752.64 from a combination of Plum virtual savings, Quidco and Top Cashback which I remembered to cash out this time, actual pot of loose change from my purse clearouts (£75.79), a People's Postcode Lottery win and eBay payout that was just sitting there so they sent it on, as they do.

I believe Metro Bank allow you to use their coin counters even if you're not a customer so will be trying that in the next couple of weeks when I'm at the office and my £1.10 in 5ps is going in a little RNLI pot that I was given last time I was in one of their shops, for next time I'm at the seaside (and I remember, of course!).

Signature updated and ready to go again - can't believe I've been doing this for 16 years!  Overall very pleased and well done everyone!

Thank you as always @Sue-UU for running it and keeping us in line

I'm sorry Sue, I'm going to be late, I literally landed from Florida at 6:48am this morning and my pots are still at my dad's house (placed there for safe keeping). I am just too tired to drive over and get them, but will go tomorrow and declare afterwards.
