I have been awol for the last week due to visitors.  The lovely early summer sunshine has brought family down to us in Cornwall. Thanks to @Suffolk_lass for keeping things going and for tinkering with the conditional formatting for monitering our collective progress. We are now sitting at £330,250.53 out of a target of £650500 so over 50%.

I have put £1000 in our savings for July so we now sit at £8000 for July.  We have a holiday to pay for in August so are holding back £1000 this month in our holiday savings space and will do  that again in August so not including that in our annual savings target.

Well done to all savers now we are more than halfway through the year.

  • #33 with my update for June of £228.88. I didn't manage any overtime and was doing nice things with friends instead, but at least there was still a bit of saving. July will definitely be much much better as I have lots of work on.
