Thank you, that’s really good to know! I hope all has turned out okay after your emergency, it must have been dreadfully stressful for you.Suffolk_lass said:Thank you, but if posting more regularly keeps you focussed on saving, we really don't mind. Between us we are in every day or three to update. Exceptionally I have not this week but that was a domestic emergency, 9992 -
Thank you but not me. It is the cheese-monster I am married to. All OK and being managed (meds) -he does follow the advice he's been given. I don't need to supervise but I do need to shop and cook differentlyCaeraugirl said:
Sorry to hear that @suffolk_lass but hope you're over the worst now.Nothing the removal of the gallbladder won't sort but it was very scary for about 4 days. We will certainly be spending less on groceries as the forerunner to that is low/no fat (to control it), plus diet and losing weight, so no Easter chocolate, or other temptations for us.Save £12k in 2025 #2 I saved £14,660.97 of £6000 or 244.35% of my target. @Suffolk_lass sorry to hear about your health issues! Take some time to sit back, relax and ponder. Everyday life can move at a frantic pace. Now’s the time to reevaluate your priorities and general approach to life. Take advantage of this sunny weather to absorb the warmth and use it to revitalise and help the healing process. Remember, sometimes a step back and slow down approach can help all on it’s own.Anyways, I suppose I should include my update for March … Topscooby #27 £1000

#024 declaring £1,060 for February.
Feeling much more positive with the recent sunshine we've had.
Just took stock of my regular savers open at the moment and they're averaging a tidy 7.5% interest rate (HSBC, FD, VM and Natwest Digital RS respectively). Wonder what that will look like in a year's time!"If you aren’t willing to own a stock for ten years, don’t even think about owning it for ten minutes” Warren Buffett
