I assume (hope) that it was all clear - therefore you have received a service albeit not the one you expected and therefore should pay for it. Their offer of a price reduction seems fair given the circumstances.
If you dont pay - expect at very least the data to be deleted0 -

So now you're saying you didnt have an MRI at all? Else you did get the service you are paying for, there was just a slight delay.
Anyway, take the advices from your "solicitor" friend, at least you can sue them for bad advice when the clinic get a CCJ against you.2 -
As the OP is clearly not interested in any input from the forum, and has now resorted to being abusive to folk, I'm suggesting that the thread be closed to avoid it continuing with back and forth bickering.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

What are you hoping to achieve by keeping repeating the same thing over and over.
You have been given the opinion of people on this forum.
You are not going to change these opinions. Why are you so concerned about getting some body to agree with you when you have a lawyer advising you?
Move on and buy your lawyer friend a few drinks.3 -

Times certainly vary and you can always be the lucky person who's referral is looked at immediately after someone just cancelled their appointment for next week. 2 weeks in the private sector is still long time though, at least in London. Have had the misfortune of needing several MRIs in my time and have always been offered a scan within 2 business days of the request, on one occasion was offered a slot in 2 hours.
Whilst the OP states they may have died in the wait the fact it was a GP referral to imaging rather than to a consultant or being told to go to A&E would suggest that the criticality of the matter wasnt high enough for the GP to consider they may die in the wait.0 -
The OP is looking for someone to agree with her and nobody is, that says a lot. Now, as if by magic, she now has a solicitor friend who doesn't agree with everyone on here and who is willing to sort it for a few pints. Why then would you feel the need to come to a forum to ask for advice if she already have a solicitor who supposedly knows the answer? Unfortunately we will never know what really happens but if it were me I'd take the £120 offer gratefully.1
