I was checking my Amex online and clocked a nice little earner - £10 cashback for a minimum £750 spend which can be used up to three times until 6th November.
Open to the first 5,000 member applicants - Amex confirmed that I had enrolled in time to enjoy the offer.
We have a special event holiday in 2025 so I can tailor three appropriate installments over the next couple of weeks to settle in part before the final amount is due in March.
Basically a £30 handout.

It's always worth checking offers like these. I've earned £30 this month by using my Halifax credit card on things I would have paid for using it anyway, but might not have activated the offers!
I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?

Thanks - I'll need to view my Halifax Clarity offers more regularly then !!!
The Amex one I stumbled up more or less by chance - now paid £1000 to the travel agent as an instalment for the special event cruise next summer and received the £10 back. Two more to follow.
I had planned to do it by monthly Direct Debit, however the £10 "free" money was a no brainer so I cancelled that option.
One aspect wasn't clear - the cashback was flagged up as a payment from the travel agent rather than from Amex.

Thanks.  Also, not all cards get all offers.

This is normal for Amex cashback - the 'credit' has always shown from the transaction merchant.

Didn't know that - interesting, thanks.
I've always been impressed with Amex, good customer service etc.
Getting a notification each time a credit payment was made was also very useful.
My only gripe was that some merchants didn't accept the card, however they are becoming fewer and fewer.
