if you flash w810i software to another phone which isnt a w810i, you will brick it. you can convert a k750i > w800i or a k800 > k810i or a k610i/v630 > w660i (with a few slight probs)

Please M8 do you have a guide to convert K750i to a W800i ?

I tried it before and ended up bricking the phone and had to get it reflashed etc at a phone shop.

I managed to do the W810i without a problem.

Is the k750i a cid36 or 49 handset?

if its a cid49 k750i, you are going to have to GSlide the firmware like i did as afaik w800i's are cid36.

Download this FS and this MAIN. you will also need this custom pack

get GSlide from here and XS++ from here and the usbflash drivers from here

extract the MAIN and FS and open GSlide


So here you need to prepare the main-flash:
1. Click the "..." and choose the main-flash that you downloaded.
2. Click add patches (if you want to apply any patches)
3. Now select the output file, this will be your new main-flash. (i.e "mainflash.bin")
4. Click process and wait and hopefully you'll get to:
5. "Done."

Now the main-flash is done. Remember where you saved it.
Now over to the file-system-flash:
1. Click the "..." again and this time choose your file-system flash.
2. Do not add any patches here this time.
3. Select an output-file so that you know where you've put it. (i.e "filesystem.bin")
4. Click process and wait and again you'll hopefully get
5. "Done."

open up XS++ and install the flash drivers. follow this guide to flash your phone

Thanks gaming guy. Now got a W800i. I found soome gslided main and fs files on the se forum and used them. No brick like the last time.
