As I suspected my Tesco had no bags but I had an email back today, suspect its the stock reply. No complaints though it seems on the number you can request.

The bag itself has a slip that you write your surname, postcode and clubcard number on, then you fold this inside the bag so no-one else can see it on the way :D

Age Concern?? Wierd, my bags say Barnado's is the charity...

In answer to the question about the mobile phone recyling. There is a link deep inside the Tesco Clubcard website:

    http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/clubcard/index1.htm

which tells you to click through to the recycling company to order the postage bags ( a different company to the printer cartridges). However, when you get there it tells you that you have to pick the bags up in store.

I could not find any in my local store, so I asked at the Customer Services desk and the girl fished a couple out from under the counter for me.

So for some reason it seems as if this is not being actively promoted at the moment - maybe I will email Tesco about it when I have more time.

Anyway - you have to declare yourself whether the phone can be switched on or not. I have one that doesn't, so I am going to tick the box that says it does work (i.e. 300 points instead of 30) and see what happens.

Regards to mobile phone recyle, i had the similar idea before. To get a old used mobile phone on ebay is roughly 10 pounds, but to get 300 points would be 30 pounds. However, they do have limit about the mobile from each customer to recyle, now is 4 max.

After reading the whole thread, i still dont know whether Tesco has limit about the ink recycle.
    Spend smart, and save more.

Am I not right in thinking that 300 points is only worth £3.00 and not £30.00??? Otherwise the person on the first page would be getting £135 worth of club card points equivalent???

Yes, pretty confident that 300 points is £3.00.
