Morning all xx
👋 to HB and Jazee xx
I'm up, made my bed, brought down the laundry hamper, completed Wordle in five (I got the first three letters in the first line and then had a whole load of choices to work through), completed Connections with no lives lost, and I've supped my first brew.
Too much going on in my head. I did manage to list the headings: car, wedding, Christmas, birthdays, Pop's 90th. (Bear in mind that Christmas and birthdays send me into a loop every year at this time of year, throw in a written off car, a wedding, and Babs pestering me to sort out something for Pop's 90th in January, and 'stop the world I want to get off')
Then ICO got in touch this week about my complaint re: someone accessing my medical record without my consent...so I've updated them and given the go ahead for them to look into that. I'm sure the Trust thought they'd managed to fob me off with their smoke and mirrors....nope. I was waiting for ICO to get in touch. 😉
And breathe.....thankfully things are calm at work. Dare I say less toxic. Just the commute's a nightmare because of on-going road works..so I'm still going in early to avoid the snarl ups.

Good to hear Mr Ionafan is improving, hopefully that continues apace.
Round…great that the ICO are in touch and Hope the planning/dealing with everything is manageable.
All four lines in connections with no lives lost and in double quick time! Not looked at Wordle yet.
Went to M&S for our tea last night, got a topside joint half price so that’s Sunday dinner sorted, it’s in the freezer but i’ll get it out tonight. Just need the spuds etc. I’ve apples so i’ll do a crumble or Eve’s pudding or tarte tatin…
ETA…. put ‘my’ starter word in Wordle and i have 3 letters so I rather think my starter word has much in common with yours, Round. Got it in 5!

Pots have been WUDUPA. Plastics have been WUDU and recycled. Second load of washing has been swished, had an extra spin and been draped on the airer. I've filled up the jars with tea bags and coffee, and unboxed cans of pop - cans now in the fridge and cardboard has been recycled.
Lunch time now.

Flat out since 7.30, but now stopping for a bit. So far I have:- shuffled the laundry and put most of it on a heated rail thing because it just wasn't going to finish drying any other way,- cleared the washing up,- thrown away some things that were never going to be used but not as much as I'd intended while Belovéd is away, the rest can wait. The decks are clearer and that's all that matters to me right now,- emptied the recyling bin into the wheely bin. It's nearly full,- tumbled both the composters. I think one of them is ready to be emptied, and that's going to have to wait until I can set aside a couple of hours to do so and then plant some of the bulbs I stored in the spring in the coal hole,- sorted through the mountain on my desk, filleted out all the shopping notes and tidied the rest of it so I can see wood again which makes a pleasant change,- prepped the cat toys for the tortoiseshell cat for tonight, a job that Belovéd normally does first thing - she won't settle otherwise and keeps us awake for hours pounding on the door,- finished the first tidy of the cupboard under the front steps so everything's easily accessible, and bunged all the rest of the gibble we normally keep in the coal hole into the room where the coal hole is, ready to be dealt with when I make up the double bed, dust and vacuum that room. I should have done it this week but the deadline is Tuesday and if anything can wait has to at the moment,- pegged out the crate cover because that won't fit anywhere else in the hope that it finishes drying today because I want it back on the crate by tonight,- written a thank you note for the neighbour that invited me for supper on Wednesday and posted it through his door, deadline tomorrow when he's due back from London,- had a shower and washed my hair,- walked the dog,- nipped to Morribunds and got lamb for tomorrow because I love lamb and we don't have it often enough, plus veggies etc bird food and some chocolates for another neighbour because she's invited us in for supper tonight,- made it to the GP's surgery in time for my flu jab with literally not a minute to spare for my appointment,- filled the peanut and fatball sides of the bird feeders. I can hear them twittering away outside so that's lovely, and- put all the shopping away.I suspect Belovéd will want picking up from the station when his train gets in at about 5.15. I intend to do absolutely nothing until then.

Hi all
Get well soon Mr Iona x and hugs to those who need it. Nice day, went to volunteering then did a 5 mile walk on my own. Stated to get really bad stomach ache as I walked the last bit back to the car which hasn't eased off much. No idea what that's about.
DH will be home from work soon, the rain is hammering down. I have put the heating on. I have dusted and hoovered downstairs, put clean washing away, taken the camping chairs and wellies out of the boot of the car where they have been since our holiday and put them away and sorted some recycling. My heated throw and library book are calling.7 -
Got back from event, everyone was lovely, learnt some new information and skills art wise which I tried out when I got home. Had a proper catch up conversation with DH, took Poppet out and got soaked to the skin. Now in jammies, I'm going to read.Spend less now, work less later.7

Morning all
I hope Mr Iona is on the mend. Look after yourself too Iona x
Welcome back, Dustykitten.
Hugs to everyone else. Round, keep breathing, my lovely.
DH and I had a very rare day out yesterday to a NT place. Got home mid afternoon and then I did pretty much nothing, apart from cook dinner and then some knitting. This morning I inevitably have a list, but I’m tasked with a quick visit to the allotment (a misnomer, if ever there was), then we have been invited out for a late lunch with friends. I can see that list will still be sitting there, looking at me accusingly this evening.
Guess I had better get dressed and face the day x6 -
Morning all
Sunday roast for the family today; dessert will be tarte tatin. I have already prepped and cooked the apples, they are in the fridge as I like to make it a bit easier on myself if i can, plus the pan has been through the DW. I’ll bake it in a pyrex dish.
Ive 4 loads of washing to peg out when i am showered and medicated, and i bought bulbs which i want to layer in a pot as per a video that popped up on facebook. I’m doing tulips, narcissi (tête-à-tête) and crocus so fingers crossed for them. I need to find my gardening gloves which i think will be in the car boot from blackberry picking. I dare not garden bare-handed, the medication affects my nails and I need to avoid infection if I can. Actually, I ought to wear them for hutch cleaning. And that’s another job for today, as rain is forecast.
Hope everyone has a super Sunday, that Mr Ionafan is getting better and I’ll see you on the new thread.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
