Morning all
Day at home today so flying will be in the plans.
DW x 1.
Stuck on wordle…i’ve got the end of the word though. One connection made so far…Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear7 -
Morning all,
Day at home here, too (sorry, Round 😘).
The washing from the past couple of days has finally dried, so time to fill the wm up again. Broken record here too - change bedding for wm, hair washed, clean upstairs.
I have lunch out with an old friend today. It’s an annual thing, so lots of chat. Anxiety levels about the journey there and back are rising, but I’ll do it, so what’s the use of getting anxious. Now if someone could just tell my brain that…
I will wordle and connect later, I have high hopes for today, after Jazee’s post.
Have a good day x8 -
Morning all,Thank you for the new lists Valli and so glad you're fine (just caught up on last thread).Had a full on day of work yesterday - 2 different reception classes in the morning and a year 2 class in the afternoon. I'm hoping I don't have that same year 2 class on Friday as they were not very well behaved, and the opposite class was even worse apparently according to the other supply teacher who was in there. The TAs seemed to just disappear in the afternoon, despite us being told that they would be there to help. Still, at least I have a few days now in between to recover.Wordle done in 5 today and connections completed. I look forward to doing connections now, knowing you're all doing it too.I need to pick up my jeans from the seamstress this morning (they needed a zip replacing and I don't have the skills or tools to be able to do this). This afternoon I'm meeting a friend for a catch-up as I saw her walking to the chemist yesterday and she looked really sad, so I could tell she needs someone to offload to (she never likes to complain and always puts everyone first and puts on a brave face, but could really do with an outlet and some time to think about her for a change). Pilates tonight, so need to fly in between. I'll have to stick a 30 minute timer on later, as this really does help me to focus.Happy flying all xEnjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20178

Hello
Can I come back please!
So long since I've been around but I need to get back into a routine and flylady worked for me for so long.
I was doing a HHC and S&S yesterday and thought I need to be back to doing lists.
Some of my old flyers are still here, I hope life is treating you all well.
I'm going to start small with a quick dust around downstairs. Tomorrow I'll look at the daily lists! The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair8 -
*healing vibes* heading your way Jazee.I realised yesterday I am completely exhausted so I'm taking a few days out while Belovéd is away. I've done a few jobs that have been waiting for some time that will ease things when I get back into it but for now there's not much happening Chez HoneyBear.Better is good enough.6

Hi @Dustykitten I've only recently come back too - so lovely to see another familiar face. x

Welcome back Dustykitten - lovely to see you x
GWS Jazee x
Hope you enjoyed your lunch out, Fayolle x I was supposed to be going to visit an old schoolfriend next week, but she has had to cancel because of ill health  - hoping we can rearrange in a few weeks' time.
Like you, HB, I can't seem to get going this week: a week after returning from holiday, I am still tired and keep dropping off whenever I sit down. I managed to take Rosie out for a walk after lunch between the showers, but it was not a very long one.
I've decluttered a few papers off my desk. This morning K came round and changed both beds for us, so I've also managed WMx3 (though it all had to go in the TD because of the rain, and will need to be draped around the bathroom to finish drying off). Fortunately the rest of the house is adequately clean and tidy for now - K says she will come and do a deep clean in half term week. I threw a big batch of stew in the SC this morning and it has been bubbling away all day, so I only have to cook jacket potatoes and some cabbage to go with it for tonight's tea. DH is going out to his model railway club this evening and I'm off to the local National Trust Centre (ie members' association) meeting to hear a talk on the history of an area just outside the Black Country where I lived and taught for 2 years, about 50 years ago. It's changed almost beyond recognition now!
I sent a Happy Birthday message to ASB on Sunday and said I hoped life was treating her and her children well, and that we miss her on this thread. She replied (in a rush, as usual!) that they are all well and lots has changed in a good way, and she sends lots of love to us all. I'm glad she's happy.

Welcome back Dustykitten. ASB happy birthday belated.
- gym swim
- after days of discussion, finally booked a short break for Mr N and I in Suffolk for the first week in November. Right on the sea front so I'm hoping for a few dips.
- booked insurance for same; very expensive just for a few days but I don't want to tempt fate with Mum.
- progress being made about the sad disposal of the range; we've had 2 quotes to disconnect this (wildly apart) and have booked one for next week. It is currently on the bay of E, quite a few have viewed but not convinced we will sell it even for parts. New cooker ordered. So it's been an expensive week.
- Tried ringing GP about a confusing letter I'd received from the eye clinic. GP closed for training. Tried ringing eye clinic and just got "thank you for ringing the voicemail for 12345....". No way am I leaving my details on a voice mail that won't even say who it is or please leave a message.
- vague bits of flying but not as much as I'd intended.
- did some drumming practice.
- started creating a spreadsheet for the contents of Mum's address book; last time I was there I photo'd all entries but the speadsheet will be easier to read and search.
- printed and signed a few more changes of address/health situation to send to Mum's friends.
Lots of rain today so no gardening done and likely no Northern Lights or meteorites will be visible tonight.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7
