No saver with them - that’s what I’m trying to secure.clairec666 said:
Have you already got the 7.5% regular saver?SFCooper said:I went on live chat and asked them why I couldn’t open a 7.1% regular saver (as someone who was part of the beta trial).
They said that I “just can’t”

I'm struggling with the direct debit part. Is there any easy way, or am I missing something? I can't link my plum with zopa, I have read this thread back and I'm not alone there. I've tried PayPal but can't work out how to pay in from zopa - I'm only seeing debit card options. I've linked zopa with PayPal but just can't figure out how to pay in using direct debit(edit - never mind I've found the option now, but it keeps having an issue and can't make the transaction). Might try opening a money box account tomorrow.0

I did it with a single initial DD payment to Moneybox, not difficult but it's involved, takes a while and MBox's weekly payment cycle can be, er, involving.goatfaced said:I'm struggling with the direct debit part. You've got a year to score that £30, could you not do it the easy way and just swap in payment of a utility or credit card account?3

I also used Moneybox - fairly straighforward as above, just gotta plan around their collection cycle. Their simple saver only allows one withdrawal per calendar month, so make sure you keep that in mind if you want to withdraw the £1500 afterwardsflaneurs_lobster said:

Thanks both, I've opened money box now. I considered using a smaller direct debit over a longer period, but I'm using 123lite still, and repaying credit cards with nationwide debit cards for their cash back. I wanted something simple for this while it's payday and the money is available for moving around. Although this biscuit account might be a good long term option.0

It's max £30 cashback per year (I believe this is from anniversary of account opening). You can either do it in one hit like we have, or if you have monthly DDs that add up to £1500 over the course of the year then that's another way to do it. I'd be surprised if they don't start putting a monthly cap on the DD cashback at some point anyway.goatfaced said:Thanks both, I've opened money box now. Is the DD cashback ongoing? I thought it was an introduction bonus for first year only.

It says the cash back is guaranteed for 12 months. And the 2% interest is fixed for 12 months. It doesn't say what will happen after that.crumpet_man said:Is the DD cashback ongoing? I thought it was an introduction bonus for first year only.1

That seems to be an improvement to the explosion in a paint factory that I got with their beta account last year.goatfaced said:Here's the biscuit bank card
